  1. Is the brake servo going bad for sure and if so, which cars have the same brake servo? Will have to visit my local scrapyard and there are no 1.8T RS AUQ. Can it be something else like a vacuum hose? Thanks. VID_20240113_105820(0)(0).mp4
  2. I have swapped out cam belt, water pump, thermostat and the coolant in the container starts boiling, indicating poor circulation. Temp goes past 90°c and then goes down when thermostat opens? I have tested the thermostat and pump and they work.. The pump had broken down in just 20000km but it had circulating water before swap. flushed the system but no luck, Water is boiling in the container with open lid when trying to bleed the system of air, next step is the scrap yard.. Anyone have any ideas??? I got the belt and pump of autodoc with registration number provided. Clearly states that it fits. https://m.autodoc.se/bosch/7885556
  3. I switched out both fans to new ones, changed the three fuses on top of the battery, changed thermocontact on the radiator. They wont run at all now, might be the relay being dead? Next is cable broken due to all the fiddling around in the engine compartment. Ideas?
  4. Alright, another question, the right fan (LHD) doesn't start with the AC, is it also suffering from the same problem?
  5. My -01 Octavia RS is overheating because the radiator fan doesn't run when car is idling, it only starts running at 105 degrees celsisus or so. I'm going to get a replacement fan, but will also see if i can get a new fan relay because no fans start when AC is turned on. AC probaly has no gas left in it, since it doesn't cool when stationary. I have moved around the three fuses on top of the battery and no success, no signs of corrossion or anything. 1. Where is the fan relay located? I can't seem to find it under the battery. 2. Where are the connectors located when looking from above, are the 2 connectors located on the battery-side in the bottom? 3. Besides getting a used fan and relay from salvage yard, what else should i get to minimize time spent troubleshooting... and money spent... Regards
