  1. What's the comfort like compared to standard shocks and springs? Slowing down for speed bumps etc ? I'm 50 now and crashy harsh suspension isn't my thing these days 🤣
  2. Dmf on its way out ?
  3. Hi everyone. I have posted regarding this in the past but just wanted to get some new ideas and thoughts . My shocks and springs (original as far as I'm aware) on my 2004 VRS are a little tired I think. I'd also like to lower it, for asthetic purposes and also for better handling. It's my work and play car so don't want the ride to be too crashy or harsh. I've got the following in mind. Bilstein b4s with eibach springs. (25mm drop I think) Ap shock and spring kit.(25mm drop) Bilstein b12 pro kit (although I fear this one may too harsh for my liking. I currently have a white line RARB, Meyle hd console bushes, psb front wishbone bushes, Meyle hd drop links, rear beam has psb bushes fitted. I have new febi top mounts and anti roll bar bushes ready for the new set up. I'm leaning towards the ap set up, but some thoughts and experiences would be appreciated. Many thanks John
  4. hows the 4x4 part progressing?
  5. Hi all. I've posted about this before but can't find the original post. I was gonna pull the trigger on new suspension a while ago but other life things got in the way. Looking at it again now and wanna get it done this year. I've whittled it down to either ap shocks and springs (25mm) or bilstein b4 shocks and eibach springs. I'm looking to retain as much comfort as possible but close the arch gap somewhat and improve the handling. Already have rarb fitted which has made a big difference. Any thoughts to add? Other options to consider? Cheers all John
  6. Just a quick update for anyone considering doing this. The Fuchs titan sintofluid has made the gear change much smoother, especially from a cold start
