  1. Enjoying Yeti ownership but infuriated by two types of engine noise! The first is at revs between 1500 and 3000 and sounds like a heatshield somewhere is vibrating (its so prominent, a passenger recently thought we were being overtaken by a moped?!). The second noise is a sort of electronic buzzing noise. I've tried to video it here...(comes on properly at around 16 seconds) Any ideas on either of the noises? I know the wastegate's on these can sometimes cause issue, but could it be anything else? (excuse the annoying video format. I recorded widescreen but it uploaded portrait)
  2. Many thanks. Any ideas on where I can order this from? Skoda main dealer or are there any better alternatives?
  3. Just discovered my centre rear seat backing plastic (cup holders etc) is snapped off at the top. Looks screwed into the bottom of the seat itself, so need a part number. Any ideas on what the number is and also where best to order from? It's a 2010 TSI 1.2SE but I'm assuming they're fairly standard across all models. Many thanks
  4. Thanks for the welcome and reply. I'll investigate further so appreciate the help. Adding DAB separate to the Bolero, I was looking at the AutoDAB kind of setup. https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/autodab-ctdab-sk1-skoda-fabia-octavia-roomster-superb-yeti-oem-digital-car-radio-dab-adaptor.html Not as seamless as a replacement OEM unit but figured it might be a cheaper option.
  5. Hi there. Just bought a 6 year old Yeti 1.2 TSI SE in Candy White and with the Adventure Pack. 33k miles on the clock and immaculate. It's a family car upgrade for us and I've so far been impressed by all the usual build quality/drive plaudits they got when first released. Also own a classic BMW M Coupe for 2 seater fun, and hoping this forum will help me when I have the inevitable odd niggle here and there (as my Beemer does from time to time!). First thing I probably want to try and do is retrofit DAB/Bluetooth to the standard Bolero head unit. Or swap for a Columbus. Or somethings else perhaps! The Bolero says it has Bluetooth but the steering wheel doesn't feature a phone and my mobile can't pick it up, so I'm guessing it needs programming or its just playing with my head Anyway, I look forward to reading more into this forum over time.
