  1. Hi I’ve only just noticed this thread Tasha,s Citigo was doing the same a few months ago and when I had a look it was the drivers side seat belt buckle I sprayed a small amount of silicone in to the buckle and it has not done it since 👍 hope this helps 👍 cheers Paul Tash n Barney
  2. Hi I've been reading up about the automatic headlight switch with sensor and would like to do this Conversion for Tash while I've got it up the workshop for a service in the next couple of weeks but on searching the bay of e they all appear to be for every other model skoda but the citigo or for vw models could someone please point me in the right direction or are the skoda ones all the same, I did try clicking on the link on the topic but the one suggested is no longer available 🤔👍cheers Paul Tash n Barney span widget
  3. Hi thanks for the replies we've driven to snowdonia today in it for aong weekend it's the furthest I've driven it and was very impressed with it, we've just walked back from the pub and will have a look at that website 👍 here are the journey details very pleased with mpg 👍
  4. Hi I've not been on here for a while as I've got a new toy (1963 series 2A Land Rover) but I've driven Tasha's citigo in to work today and ive noticed when i went in the boot where there are just plain metal panels either side they have condensation on them, which i understand as its extremely cold today and the front of the car has been in the sun but the rear is up against our warehouse are there any panels available to fit so as to insulate them, ive googled it but cannot see anything any help would be great please, ps the car has been great no problems with it the mileage is now just shy 78K Cheers Paul Tash n Barney
  5. Hi Steve great hope you’re happy with it 👍 Paul Tash n Barney
  6. Hi Steve Thank you it was a lovely week near Lake Bala, we got back last night and I've taken a couple of pictures it's not a perfect fit but is definitely fit for purpose 👍 Paul Tash n Barney
  7. Hi Steve no I’ve tucked it in both ends of the seat backs and have had no issues with that, we are on holiday at the moment in our other car so I can’t take pictures to show you but we will be back Saturday so can take pictures then if that’s any help 👍
  8. Hi Steve we’ve had our rear seat cover fitted since October and we are very happy with it, our Black Lab takes up the back seat and is also harnessed and we’ve no complaints at all 👍 Paul Tash n Barney
  9. Hi 👋 cambelt, Tensioner, pulley and I’m sure there were also bolts replaced as part of the job, they ordered the full kit to do the job from Skoda all in it was around £300 fitted, they also had to buy the special tool required to do the job, I’ve used the garage over the last 24 years and trust them to do the job they’re being paid to do 👍
  10. Hi 👋 we had Genuine Vag belt and sundries changed/fitted at around 72k and 4 1/2 years old, for me I wanted peace of mind and for the cost which wasn’t anywhere near the value of our car,I was very happy to pay to have it done, I hope you enjoy you’re Citigo, Tasha loves hers, great little cars 👍
  11. Hi 👋 when I changed our plugs while servicing I found the rubber boots where rather stubborn so I followed some previous advice and pulled the boots stretching them and then holding at a constant pressure for about a minute and it popped off and worked for all 3 when refitting I too lightly smeared the ceramic part of the plug with dielectric grease which I already had.😃
  12. Hi Tasha drives a 2014 5 door citigo great little car, I believe they all have cam belt,we had ours changed in December as it’s done just over 70 k it was no biggee, ours doesn’t have a reverse camera but I’m sure they will of been an option or on higher spec models, ours does 60 odd mpg more on longer journeys Tash drives to Bournemouth once a month, I personally think the ride is comfortable it’s fitted with 14” steel wheels, the seats are comfortable and it’s got a peppy little 3 cylinder engine, road tax is £35, and nice also to have the plug n play sat nav and Bluetooth,
  13. Hi I’ve today given Tasha’s 2014 citigo with 72k miles a service oil ,filter, air filter ,pollen filter and I’ve changed the spark plugs and i was advised to pull and hold the coil pack at a constant pressure and sure enough they all popped off without issue, I checked on euro car parts before I did the job in case I knackered the coil packs and I noticed they are on offer for a couple of days BBT 3 for £84 instead of £127 are these something that should be replaced every ? Years or just renew when they fail in other words do they have a life span, the air filter was still clean from its last service but the pollen filter was absolutely filthy with loads of bits in it, it had last been replaced 2 years ago according to the service book and receipts, I was advised to put dielectric grease on the enamel part of the spark plug when replacing so as to get a good conduction and hopefully to help when replacing the plugs again, all in all it’s been a very productive day and I’ve got some brownie points as well have a good one Paul n Tash
