I had to quit the mirror version because of the flex cable, it didn´t have enough lengh 20cm is not enough, I had to go with 3d box rout so no flex cable needed. The first post is useless.The cable goes through the mirror cover

Hello I didn´t change the windshield and mirror, i had to make a 3d box for camera and paint the glass with black primer , you can use the stencil below to do that . You will need 3M (for glass) Doble sided tape to glue the 3d box to the painted glass. You will need to have front radar for this retrofit. Hello Sasha, did you take pictures of BCM retrofit? what part did you use? I´m thinking of switching mine to, can i buy the same partnumber but for oder brand for example audi or volkswagen? 5Q0937084CQ

Thank you Sasha , i think in maxidot everything is good now. I only have 2 erros in 5F bouth are Missing message ,i´m still trying to find what it is. Is BCM easy to swap, does it have CP ? woud i need to change the leds in the doors to?

Any news about this, is it possible to update older cars ?

Hello sorry for assaulting this tread. I have retrofited a hacked 9.2 columbus (it had to be because i upgraded from bolero so i wouldn't have GPS if dealer retrofited it) . I sended a backup of my original adaptation a conding to the person that hacked my unit and it is now placed in my car working but somethings need to be done, GPS is working fine and is coded correctly in dashboard i had to do that with obd11. The doner car had AID and i only have full color maxidot and I'm a litle lost in what to do here ,what can i do about ambient light in maxidot,car and the radio it self, can someone give me a hand please.

Hello in Audi it is possible in the basic cluster. OBD eleven Connect obdeleven to car (ignition on, don't start engine) 1) go to garage (obdeleven), tap on your audi; 2) tap on Control Units; 3) tap on Information control unit 1 (5F) 4) tap on Adaptation; 5) scrol down and find Dashboard_ Display_Configuration and tap on it; 6) navigation_map_transmissoin_mode - tap and change to MOST_streaming; 7) navigation_map_compression_mode - tap and change to H264; 😎 navigation_map_ resolution - tap and change to resolution_1; 9) confirm adaptation and restart MMI. And i found this here in the forum : Maxidot does not have MOST fibre correct ?

Hello This is my corrent project , i have been falowing golfmk7 forum and mqb.pl site trying to retrofit this to my superb. What i have done so far is mount the a5 camera in my own mirror. I have made the bracket with : 3 aluminium cutted pieces 5€ Laser cut file 3mx2cm screws- bought in a 3d printer mounting shop 2€ 3 spring -bought in a 3d printer mounting shop 2€ 3 precision nuts-bought in a 3d printer mounting shop 3€ 34 pin 0.5 pitch cable and Pcb You can se in the pictures below. The next thing I'm going to do is glue the camera board to the ceiling maby using velcro tape so i can remove it when ever i want, then pass the cable i have bought from alliexpress. to be continued
