Hello , i to have a tablet holder , but i bought a monitor for the oder seat and was thinking in conecting it to the tv tuner so i could control it from the mib unit.

Hello Has anyone installed monitors on the front seats for rear seat entertainment ? Any ideas on how to pass the cables through the seats ?

Hello I'm having this problem for a Wilde and purchased the wrong part , because autodoc send me to part 0986332002 this part does not fit, so be carfull. This is the one i have - 4RA007791-20 and i'm waiting for bosh part 986332040.

I have conected the ring break diagnostic cable to the back of the mib unit in the grey switch pin 3. Most is working as i have virtual cockpit and nav is shown in the virtual cockpit . The odd thing is when i disconnect the optical from the tv tuner a error appears in 5f saying there is no optical connection to tv tuner. I used a optical spliter that is directly connected to 5f, i have a red light to the tv tuner the tuner when powered does not show a red light, is this normal ?

Hello ApertureS I´m sure i have 12v to the tv tuner i mesuered it with a multimeter. I have tv tuner 8v0919191B and as everything i tried did not work i bought the correct one 8v0919191C thinking that baybe the unit was dead. but this one is the same, obd11 does not show me the 57 -tv tuner in the installation list so can´t enable it there. If i go to adaptation in gateway on specified installations and enable it there i get a no comunication error on the gateway. One thing that is odd is, if i disconnect the optical cable from the tv tuner 5f it gives me an optical error that it can´t comunicate with tv tuner .

Does anyone know if tv tuner lights up (red optical) when it is being powered ? I'am having a hard time making this work , obd11 does not show tv tuner in my gateway list . Any help would be apreciated.

Hello , does anyone have the superb quadlock pinout diagram ? I need to confirm where to plug a tv tuner cable (Diagnostic) , i think it is on the grey switch on pin 3 but I'm not sure. Thank you

If the only diference is the color of the fakra my connectors ( the ones i bought) is Z fits all colors, if the amplifiers are all same on the inside i would not need to buy the black one. You see i already put it in its place under the headliner witch is a pita of a job to remove .

In the superb tv comes from double white (am\fm\tv), double black ( dab\ tv) and a green one (tv) , in some audi like the q7 or tt instead of double black they use double purple (fm2\tv) and a single black for dab. Aparently i should have bought the double black but bought purple are they internaly the same ?

I think i understand now, number 4 must be Dab they made a mistake. Can anybody confirm please ?

Hello is dab the same thing as FM2. I´m asking this because i´m retrofiting tv tuner and on the amplifiers comunications pdf (see below) there is no dab, only fm2. Now i know i have bought fm2\tv amplifier (the color is rouge) i think it shoud be black but can i connect it to the dab in the radio ? Are they the same internaly ? I don't have none of them, i assume it is because i don't have dab. I know i need to solder the conection to the side window , i just don't know where to pin them, and i dont know witch of the two conection on the amplifier i should connect the tv aerial cable.

Today i removed d pillards it was easy just like you said, but to my admiration there was no amplifiers there. I want to put the tv Turner amplifier i think t its theire place or am i missing something ?

Hello Alval, i´m beggining this project , yesterday i bought the antenas (the audi ones). The one you mean tapped is the one with that puff ball correct ? and the head unit is the tv tuner?. I think this is because this cables wore made to be used in cars where the tv tuner goes in the trunk (golf for example) Alval Can you please help me with the connection on this cable, so what did you do with the most cable , one goes to the back of the tv tuner and the other what did you? The brown cable is ground , but there are 2 cable green/purple and red/back where did you fit them ? You did not use any of these correct? What have you done, instead bough or made it your self ? I am able to homologate them outside the dealer , there is a company that has engineers to test and aprove the wheels, it is called LTA i think i will have to go that rout. The dealer is denying to homolgate them , they say my car is not prepared to fit them.
