Hello, Great post, If you want everything to work correctly for exemple ambiente color in virtual cockpit in 2016 cars you need newer BCM and gateway.

I had to buy mine directly from dealer, i wiil see you color code a poste here.

Has anyone tried to enable this via obd eleven in a 2.5 mib ? For what i read we have to go to 5f and enable wlan 5ghz , activate google_gal_wireless (android auto),apple_dio_wireless(carplay) . Then remove all bluetooth devices and pair the phone once again after that pair the phone with wlan too .

The correct part is 3v0857053A ( to use with virtual cockpit) the last letter A is very important , the next letters has to do with the color mine is NF8 (silver)

I´m sorry it has been a long time, that green cable goes in the fuse box, my had it also i used a piggyback (fusetap).

My first attempt was to place the camera in the mirror like in this link https://mqb.pl/en/tutorial-retrofiting-lane-assist-sign-assist-light-assist-5q0980653/ ,but in superb it is not possible because the maximum length of cable is 20 cm and there is no space in superb roof, i even make the bracket . There was only one solution a 3d printed box, i think it came out good , you can see below.

Here are my Retrofits it´s a 2016 version: Lane assist - without changing windshield Virtual cockpit Columbus 2.5 with 9.2 screen BCM newer (made possible the 30 ambient colors, only had 3) GATEWAY newer (because of bcm swap) What I´m currently trying to do is in some way have the traffic information on my MIB as i can´t have skodaconnet because of VIN and there is no TCM here in Portugal.

Hello For everyone that understand how mib2 unit works , i'm trying to ask if one thing in my mind is possible to implement in our radios ( my case mib2 high). Is there any way to make the unit download traffic information from google instead of skodaconnet ? Hello you don't need to change the harness , you just need the unit and display. Depending on the case ,you may need to cut a litle bit of the plug so it fits the display.

Hello , yes i buy from ALI, it is a original part from China, but it works the same.

The attached file might help people choose color as it also helps in sorting them. The colors in it are used in vag cars from OEM. Ambie.xlsm

Hello Finaly i have done it with the help of Vagguide. https://m.facebook.com/vagguide/ My car is 2016 version , i had to change BCM and GATEWAY so that everything was functional. I had to replace the trim under the dashboard was well . This retrofit depends on the MY of the car , after MY17 i think you only need virtual cockpit.

Does anyone know what is the correct part for the trim below the cluster in my case 3V0857053NF8 or 3V0857053ANF8 to be used with virtual cockpit ? NF8 is the correct color but i don´t know if i can use the trim i currently have, it seams it has to be diferent.
