  1. Yeah, sorry meant propshaft. Silly me. :p I take it I just need to remove the front part only?
  2. Well at least the drive shaft, need to remove the DPF to access the turbo, a very tight squeeze.
  3. To help, the first diagram on this page. http://workshop-manuals.com/skoda/octavia-mk2/power_transmission/gearbox_02e-dsg/final_drive_differential_differential_lock/removing_and_installing_the_rear_final_drive/removing_and_installing_rear_final_drive_(octavia_ii_superb_ii)/removing/
  4. I think the bolt/screw is a 12 point spline type after some research. The screw(s) is in the boot one the floor inbetween the spare wheel and rear seat.
  5. Yeah sure, here's a link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bmt12x5rq2o43se/2016-09-20%2011.14.45.jpg?dl=0
  6. Can someone tell me what type of socket I'd need to remove the two screws inside the boot (the two on the floor with rubber grommets above them) for the drive shaft? TA! Neil
  7. Now I'm stuck to which next item I need to remove to get to the turbo/manifold. This is what I've done so far: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oi9nnpkf2mg6ije/2016-09-08%2016.21.17.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ndjjysxyak3ieg6/2016-09-08%2016.21.24.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/jktooq518h0zj70/2016-09-08%2016.21.32.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/4f5log8t68b2gh7/2016-09-08%2016.21.54.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/lpqnhenl0aywgbw/2016-09-08%2016.22.04.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/sclox2ld36sci2n/2016-09-08%2016.22.08.jpg?dl=0 Any help appreciated since I'm a bus driver I do work silly hours sometimes working upto midnight. Taxi fares are not cheap. Neil
  8. Don't believe it, I have the wrong Haynes Manual. Does not cover the Scout. Where can I find a Manual guys? Neil
  9. Thank you CupraLoon for your reply. I'll give it a go tomorrow. Neil.
  10. Hi folks, My turbocharger needs to be removed to be fixed or replaced. The Haynes Manual explains the drive shaft and subframe should be removed. Is this really necessary? Neil.
  11. Hi guys, Quick question. Would this method work on a 2007 Octy Scout MK2? I need to take the turbo out and fix it. The Hayes Manual says I need to remove the Drive Shaft and the Subframe. Something I would like to avoid if possible. Neil
