  1. What do you mean by "closed by tin" ?

     

    Do you mean that somebody used tin to plug the holes of the enrichment circuit? If yes, that is something new to me.

    There is an easier method to disable the enrichment circuit (see photo). You simply install the gasket rotated by 180 degrees.

     

    Referring to the effects of disabling the enrichment circuit, the car will have slower acceleration but the fuel consumption will be lower.

  2. 1)  The smallest diameter you can use is 0.800 mm. There is no danger for the engine but the car will have slow acceleration.

     

    2) Air jet = 1.30 mm. Fuel jet = 0.45 mm.

     

    3) There are two type of gaskets:

    • old type made of steel covered with rubber (see photo 1)
    • new type - sandwich type - a steel plate, a bakelite spacer, and 3 cardboard gaskets (see photo 2)
