  2. I need to remove the roof headliner and I guess I have to first remove the two C-pillar trims.

    Does somebody know how to do this or is there a guide, workshop manual (I don't have access to erWin)?

    Out of curiosity, their part numbers are 6V6867287C and 6V6867288C

    Thanks so much.

  3. Helli guys,

    I need to work underneath the antenna area, so I need to remove the roof headliner.

    I tried searching for the Fabia and Polo but it's so different and there's one only for the Fabia mk2.

    I've got some plastic trim tools, tried to remove the circle clip but wasn't too much of help. Then i put it back and did with too much force and now it's too deep inside (:D).

    Does somebody know how to perform such operation?

    Hi,

    Can anyone tell me the VCDS coding for activating alarm chirp on locking/unlocking the Fabia3 please?  TIA.

    +- Adaptations
    +-- Rückmeldungssignale
    +--- Akustische Rueckmeldung entriegeln set "ja"

    Changing the bulbs though is a skill acquired at the expense of scrapped knuckles and much loss of good humour! There are a few thread on here related to headlamps bulbs, I've had three attempts now and not succeeded. As an FYI, there are removable covers in the plastic wheel arch liners that give access to the headlamp bulbs once the rubber water-proof cover is removed. Drivers side is not so bad for access but passenger side is really difficult due to the battery. removing battery helps.

    I may have not checked well enough, but is there an actual guide on how to replace high and low beams?

    There's a nice little mod with VCDS that causes the DRL to fade out when activating the indicator and back in when they are cancelled. As stock they sharply decrease\increase in brightness. Just a little thing but I find it a nice touch.

    LED DRL DIM WHEN USING INDICATORS

    - ECU09 (Central electronics)
    - Adaptations
    //-----Left-----
    - "Leuchte2SL VLB22 "
    - "Lichtfunktion C 2"
    - Set "BlinkenlinksRampe" (Default: "Blinken links aktiv")
    //-----Right----
    - "Leuchte3SL VRB36"
    - "Lichtfunktion C 3"
    - Set "BlinkenrechtsRampe" (Default: "Blinken rechts aktiv")

    Enjoy :)
