Hi! First post in a long time! I have a 2021 L&K facelift 2.0tdi 150bhp dsg. I can’t find information on if this model is compatible with HVO and the Skoda website isn’t working to check, just telling me my car can’t be found as opposed to yes or no, but another superb, also 2021 is compatible. Is it just a straight swap? It has become available locally and have heard some success stories for MPG increase so would like to give a try!

So, Ordered Nov 2021. Was told March 2022, then June 2022 then they had no clue. Car went into production in March, was awaiting final assembly for months then. Lost all hope, and if I'm honest, interest too... Was going to cancel my order when a random Saturday in August I got the video that it was in the dealers ready to go, just needed to be registered. Took delivery at the end of August after a long (worthwhile) wait. Phoenix Orange TDI vRS Saloon. Front and rear sensors and wireless charging were the only extras I requested. Didn't really care about the alcantara interior, certainly not for the price anyways!! It began to wear on my superb after a while anyways. I do miss my sunroof though and my electric seat :P

Took delivery of my MK4 last week. Love it so far, but have one concern. I can't help but notice after driving it, there's an unusual smell coming from it. Almost smells like burning? Maybe I'm going mad or paranoid. I lifted the hood and can definitely get something. I notice the engine cover is almost too hot to put my hand on and the oil temp seems to be around 94c going off the digital dash. Car has about 120km on it, it's been getting short drives so could it be the DPF? I did notice after work today the fans were running like mad so I said oh there's a regeneration, that's nice. I never had to notice the smell on my two previous new tdis because I was doing insane milage back then... I read somewhere it could be some coatings etc that may just be burning off excess from the manufacturing? Am I going crazy? 😂 I waited so long I don't want there to be an issue

At long last!!!! They are real, I can happily say I've taken delivery of my MK4 vRS Octavia as of last Friday! Ordered around Halloween 2021 and landed sometime late July or early August. I didn't get any notification from dealer, it literally just appeared in the showroom one day. Phoenix Orange TDI with wireless charging front and rear sensors etc

Hey! I'm back again. It's crunch time. My RS 4 has arrived at last. I was bowled over when I say it in the metal. Still apprehensive about the switch from the 2019 Sportline. It is manual 150bhp so it will be a step up in engine. Space wise it doesn't seem that bad of a difference. The problem is, I've heard horror stories of the Mk4 and some fairy tales......

The annoying part is, that the one that's in stock is the phoenix orange that I have on order ..... I'm not going to lie, I have been very tempted to just buy a 2020 cupra ateca at this stage. But then NCT (MOT) will start being a thing I've to worry about again 😂

So most recent update on mine, 2.0tdi vRS hatch, phoenix orange. Front and rear sensors with wireless charging. Car was in production in around Feb, and has been waiting final Assembly or in final Assembly since then. Ordered in November 21, was meant to have in March. No delivery date at all now. What's this app people are mentioning? If I get the VIN from the dealer will I be able to track it myself?

Ah once you indicate on the motorway it's fine 😉😉 I know what you mean though! Most people turn it off!

Hi! I currently have a 2019 MK3 superb Sportline 2.0 tdi, 150bhp. It's a fantastic car, but my contract is up so it's due for changing. Currently, the only extra in it is the virtual cockpit. Sunroof, electric driver seat came as standard as did the Alcantara interior. I had initially planned on another MK3 (FL) Sportline, but something popped up that put a halt to that plan last year. I have a MK4 RS Octavia 2.0tdi DSG on order. I didn't really bother with extras tbh as it has all I need, with the exception of wireless charging and the front and rear sensors. I know I'll miss my sunroof and electric seat, but I am gaining my lane assist, matrix LED, auto rear trunk, sat nav and DSG! I had a MK3 2017 RS before my superb so know what I'm getting myself in for 🤗 I'm just wondering if anyone else has made a switch from the superb to the Octavia? How did you find it? Did you miss the cabin space? Did you regret it?

I haven't been given an actual exact figure, but it's 2 percent anyways... So prob like 1k or so? I'm not sure if that's on Skodas end or here in Ireland we pay extortionate registration tax. Hard to know isn't it? Yeah I agree, I was meant to have mine originally around February, but no idea at all now.

Just an update on my own wait for my Diesel vRS. Car has been in "Final Assembly" since February. I can confirm it's true as the dealer showed me the actual order. They told me that if they are waiting on any parts this will stay in final Assembly until the part is gotten. In my case, it's something for the wireless charging. Car ordered around October / November, built in Jan. No sign of movement since Feb and car has now gone up in price. Being told 6 weeks every week but that's not the dealers fault to be fair, they can only provide updates based on what information they've been provided! Have a MK3 Sportline Superb 150bhp, and to be honest, I'm starting to get cold feet 😬

Mine was at final assembly about 3 weeks ago. It's still showing as that status now. Just got word from the dealer that there's no news good or bad on it. So who knows? But of sh1t show

Yeah I'd imagine assembling it doesn't take long, but as for what final assembly means, beats me? He showed me the progress of the car on their systems and literally just says Final Assembly, 16 Feb 2022

I don't know but that's what the stage it showed on the build tracker. Literally just says "Final Assembly". Dealer did say that could take a while depending if it is awaiting parts etc

Got word from my dealer that the car is currently at "final assembly" since 16 Feb 2022. Anyone else have a rough idea on how long it takes? Seems to be a how long is a piece of string type question.... Price increase coming at the end of March... Prices gone insane...
