Skoda Yeti 170 TDI 4x4

I would recommend a Yeti 170 TDI 4x4Look at our 21% road trip last year with caravan.

Has anybody tested this winter protective grille cover for the front bumper from Superskoda?
I can´t get the heat upp when it´s -20 C

White is definitely the 'coolest' colour for a yeti imo. Looks great
Yes!

Although I am currently towing 1300Kg which won't be a problem with the Yeti, is anyone towing 1400/1450Kg with one (NB Can do without the anti-caravanning comments getting into this one - we are keen, life long caravanners so have heard it all!).
Thanks in advance for your help.
The Yeti is a great towing car. I also hade a vRS TDI 170 before.
The Mpg is even lower than the vRS.
With our 1420 kg Solifer Artic the Mpg is betwen 31-33 Mpg at 80km/tim (50 Mph), at 5-gear ( with cruisecontrol most of the time)

Towing a Solifer 560 MH -11(1420kg) with my Yeti 4x4 170 TDI.
Great towing performance.

That's not just a new colour, that's a significant facelift. Look how the roof rails flow straight into the top of the A pillars ... on current Yetis they stop about 6 inches short. The plastic mouldings along the doors have been body coloured. There is less chrome on the radiator grill surround (and the silver grey moulding has gone). The lower grille is completely different. A design exercise, or the shape of things to come?
The rails and radiatorgrill comes from Yeti Concept http://www.skoda-aut...s/concepts.aspx
The lower grill and rims comes from Octavia vRS 06-09

Didn't you used to have an Adria?
That looks nice.
Yes. But now I have a Solifer Artic -11.

Very good towcar
Solifer Artic 560 MH (1400 kg)
0.85 to 0.95 l/mil with caravan (33.2-29.7 mpg [i think]) At 80 km/tim (50 mph)

The first frost on my Yeti so did the usual heater and demister on full. however no apparent effect on the screen! It was zero degrees and no sun on the car and I just could not get the screen warm! Had to go for the warm water treatment to get it off. Is this because it is so fuel efficient (1.2 TSI) so little waste heat. 7 mpg on the way to school so fuel's energy going somewhere! Any tips from other owners or do I just get up earlier and put the fan heater in the car?
This is the solution

Thanks for the info. I am hoping some one in the UK or Scotland has done the same. I will price the floor and disc.
You can get the boot floor and the plastic filler for free. Just come and get them

Thanks!
We cut his fur this summer. He should look like this

Measured consumption with caravan is 9 l/ 100km (31,2 mpg)
Swedish "mil" is 10 km, so 0.9 l/mil = 9 l/100 km = 11.1 km/li = 31.2 mpg (UK) - Thanks Agerbundsen
