Looks fantastic. So what product removed the swirls? Black light or have you polished it with a rotary?
I applied blacklight with a da so did one coat as i would for swirl removal then a 2nd coat as directed. There are still some swirls in it but until i have more time to do a full correction they will have to remain.

I decided not to clay mine. Used korrosol and bilt hamber cleansing fluid and it was a smooth as silk ready for the lsp (double speed wax)
I went ahead and clayed mine, although it is going to need some more correction than just applying blacklight and wax.
Well it's rather swirly, ive not done any full correction just yet as I've not had the time.
Only managed to get the drivers side done before it got too warm.
Clayed: Slim's fine clay & dodo clay lube
Sealed: 2 coats of chemical guys blacklight by DA
Wax: ODK SiNuba- 4

Took delivery of my new Skoda Superb Hatchback this morning....Typically the weather is shocking.

Bi-xenon headlightsPre-wash: Serious Performance Citrus
Wash: Bilt Hamber Auto Wash by 2bm

Hi, do you think it is necessary or will make any difference claying a new car? Only ask because I decided not to do mine.
It completely depends upon what you're doing after it. For me i asked the dealer not to prep the car as i wanted to apply my own coatings etc.... They appear to have listened however it still seems to have transit wax of some sort on it.
The only way to really strip it back to basics is by claying.
I'm planning to clay then apply 2 coats of chemical guys blacklight then top it off with 1 coat of ODK SiNuba wax.

Good news as you should miss the tax hike if your lease company are passing the cost on
It's a company car so not really a worry ....But I just want it now!

Finally got a delivery date for it....28th March. So only a few weeks to wait now!

Has anybody got a decent set of rubber mats? I travel between construction sites on a day to day basis and short of wearing overshoes or cleaning the mats every 5 mins I could do with a decent set certainly for the driver's side.

Once the lacquer gets a break in it the diamond cut wheels start to oxidize and turn white under the lacquer.
Anything like a strong tfr or APC cleaner can cause this too. Ive seen hand car washes ruin diamond cut rims due to using a high concentration tfr or APC (essentially acid) which has eaten away at the lacquer/got under via a break in it.
I've ordered modus wheels on my service tech which is due in 3 weeks.

Cheers guys. I was also skeptical when they said late March delivery....

DSC_0993 (1).jpgDSC_0996.jpgJust a couple of pictures of my SEL EXEC in Candy White
Are these the 18" upgrade wheels?
-
Apart from the candy white thing... moon white is the nicest white!
Aye but moon white would mean I couldn't get the 18" wheel option.
-
I've just spec'd an SE technology 150 in candy white with Xenon headlamps and 18"wheels and it comes in my price band still. Happy days

Sorry for the late reply guys.
I used chemical guys blacklight on a Megs finishing pad. Going to start a full 1 stage correction with scholl S20 black soon though.
I'd like to do the wheels anthracite at some point but as it's a lease car it's a grey area at the moment.
