Hi because of illness its been a while since chatting , update to the electric tailgate cant remember if l said it was a motability car but never minde at long last the problem is sorted all due to Carl at motability. The tailgate on my Superb 3 sel exec estate will not close off the keyfob and will only if fitted with kesse this is the case with all sel execs, but this info is not the brochure not even the sales people new its only in the cars manual that comes with the car. l was told by the garage manager {who was rather surly} to go and sort it my self,I contacted motability where l was introduced to Carl this guy fought skoda Gb and Trust skoda group.ln the end {nine months} the dealership moved the swith from the tailgate to the righthand lower side panel great job wle don at last. lf it had not been for Carl the switch would still be in the tail and the car would have gone back to skoda for not fit for purpose ,l am told this mod would cost about £150 + vat.To close the boot / tailgate from inside the car would require the software to be updated this cost a lot.

Hi everyone update on my none closing tailgate off the keyfob the dealership have contacted me to book my car in so they can fix the problem.It is booked in for monday the 27th of this month l will let you all know the output of this good or bad.

Picked up my new superb sel exec estate 220 dsg on the 1st March the sales person took me through the workings of the car but could not close the tailgate from the the key fob. When l had my test drive it was in a hatchback but the sales guy the boot worked the same has the estate and that it was fully automatic opening/closing off the key fob the brochure even says this no mention of KSSY. ln the brochure this is stated 3 times on pages 12 ,20 and 29 l cannot lift my arms higher than my shoulders and my legs are us so cannot climb ladders l would l would need to carry 1 with me to reach the close button. I have just got back from the dealership and they say get in touch with Skoda to see what can be done (me by the looks of it).

Hi every one my new Superb 3 SEL Executive here picked it up on Wednesday morning, I had a good look see and demo of the car great its a bosta (black country speak) only thing was the tailgate would not shut on auto it would open ok but not close off the key fob on switch in the car only by the switch on the tailgate.The sales person said that I must have to prog this in on infotainment car prog but it should close off the fob or switch. When I ordered the car this question was asked and they told me that it do auto close it says so in the brochure. In the hand book it says only with KESSY fitted it does this. I informed the garage and they no it should auto close on my has they had read ALL the bumph and if took it back they would sort it for me, about an hour later the service manager phoned to say they would have to contact skoda has the could not find a prog to do this. I informed him that if it could not be done they could have the car back that I wanted this and was sold it with this facility.Has any one else had this problem and fixed it, the car has the 220 petrol engine by the way.

I am realy confused after reading this, I am due to pick up my new Superb 220 SEL ex estate on the 1st of March 17 reg I have told the garage to fill it with 98 octane. The answers on this forum have put a question mark on if done the right thing in requesting this, once l have some miles under its belt l will let you know what its doing.

I asked if speed camera were on my columbus nav system when I ordered my new superb on 28th dec 2016 and was told by the the sales person that they was. On my way out of the show room l saw a work tech and asked him he did not think that this was correct has they have never been on previous superbs only road speed limits.I would like the camera positions shown on the route maps and a audio warning to.Can anyone please help and advise.

Ordered superb se l executive 220tsi dsg estate on 28th dec 20016 the delivery date of th1st june ok with me.I was talking to a friend who is in the motor trade not skoda or vag about order times for my skoda they said that vw realy got the hump on the introduction of the mk3 superb has they had a new passat coming out at the same time,although they say not that they introduced some supply problems for skoda do we believe vw would not do this.I first whent to see a vw passat estate but the cost of the extras made it very expensive but thanks to the sales assistant the suggested l looked at a new superb.On the way bake home i called into a skoda dealership they had not had any deliveries of said model not even a booklet .Outside a transporter pulled up 2 new vw passats on including some skodas but no superbs the sales person rolled his eyes and said they should have been on that trans porter and that vw may have prioritized the new passat first.I hope this has helped explain the long order times may be.

Hi gang just put in my order for a mk3 Superb SE L Executive 220tfi dsg estate in Business grey metallic,18inch Pegasus alloys,black alcantara and leather seats +plus a few other goodies.The down side is 5 month delivery but I think its worth the wait.
