  1. View Advert Travall Dog Guard for Superb III hatch This is basically like brand new, fits very well and doesn’t rattle etc when fitted so it feels like a factory addition. No longer needed as it’s a custom fit and I don’t have the car anymore. Advertiser drewellis Date 20/06/21 Price £50 Category Parts for Sale Shipping Estimate £25
  2. Hey my Superb is long gone now but when the conditions were ideal I was getting about 5.2 seconds using a GPS timer. I also had the R600 intake fitted which I have for sale on here currently 🙂 Here is the ad
  3. View Advert Sportline rear bumper valance for Superb III Standard part, chrome bits included. I don’t have any of the parking sensor/tailgate sensor bits. I’ve sold my Superb so no need for it. It needs a really good deep clean really but it’s been stored well and no signs of damage, all the tabs are intact. I’ll post it to someone for £50 Collection £30 Advertiser drewellis Date 15/06/21 Price £30 Category Parts for Sale Shipping Estimate £20
  4. View Advert Racingline R600 Intake System for MQB Platform with foam filter This was only fitted to my car for a few months, it looks factory cool and makes such a massive difference but unfortunately I had to sell the car last year. As you can see it is in pristine condition. Original box is long gone but it’s been stored nice and dry in the garage covered up. Advertiser drewellis Date 15/06/21 Price £250 Category Parts for Sale Shipping Estimate £20
  5. Be careful with “custom” exhausts. The Superb is a long car, which means LOTS of drone if one tiny part of the exhaust isn’t fabricated just right. And believe me I wasted thousands trying to get a decent exhaust sorted, in the end I gave up, the last attempt had 2 mid silencers and one huge silencer each side at the back, still unbearable under load. Super sprint and some other pre-fab exhausts are the best way to go because they’ve done a whole load of proper on-car testing. The reason I gave up was that those exhausts are about £4000 Edit: The exhaust fabricator will say “don’t worry it won’t be too loud, and it won’t drone” but unless they have made an exhaust for a SUPERB before they won’t know what’s coming. Both the fabricators I used were happy with their work, until they took it for a drive. It was absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing. However when they first switched the engine on (mine was a 220) and gave it a few revs it was very quiet and sounded great - the drone and misery only comes when the engine is under load - any load - even just accelerating normally along a flat stretch of road, and the gear changes caused vibrations that made EVERYTHING rattle. Never. Again.
  6. Make sure you turn the steering wheel all the way to each side, it resets the sensors. As Kenny said a short drive will resolve the rest
  7. In my experience this decision is made before they look at it but you’re right, if the problem turns out to be with a part that isn’t covered under warranty then you’ll have to pay the diagnostic fee 👍
  8. Rear reflectors/spoiler/diffuser/exhaust tips might be all coming off for the car to be sold soon, unless someone buys the whole car lol pm me if interested
  9. I was told by Superskoda that the Front and rear emblems have different curve angles so sticking a front badge on the rear will not look right / might even fall off. Their black rear Skoda badge is slightly different size to their Superb badge but this doesn’t bother me, I fitted them anyway. Also their tinted rear reflectors look cool 👍
  10. There is no need to open the headlights, those glass “whiskers” run to the back of the headlight and at the back is a large piece of the same material that runs across each “whisker.” It would be possible to install a flexible LED strip along this connecting piece, using a pair of long nose pliers or similar through the bulb caps. I reckon it’d be a pain, but entirely possible and worth a go before spending a grand 😂
  11. Or, get a cheap DRL kit off eBay and stick it under/behind the headlight. Those whisker things are made of see through plastic and they light up really well with some bright LEDs I haven’t done it but discovered this when I removed my headlight and shone a torch through. It would probs cost about £50 if that, and the DRL kits dim the LEDs when your headlights come on so it would work pretty well. Beats paying £NOPE for whole new light units
  12. Sounds great, and I’m all for giving something back 👍 enjoy and stay safe
  13. Is Tenerife classed as part of Spain? If so be wary as there has been a big spike in Spain and they are considering a quarantine for anyone returning. At the same time they are considering opening an air bridge to Portugal! Bloody politically motivated decisions. Keep the economy going and screw the people
  14. Wonder why that guy didn’t test the Revo intercooler along with all the others....? https://www.onlyrevo.com/product-details/cooling/mqb-chassis-intercooler&engineid=391
