  1. It's going in for brake check tomorrow morning
  2. at first then vibration wheel gets really hot but it's not the brakes binding or the caliper sticking. Wheel baring OK all other major parts good. Has anyone got any good ideas what is causing this 😠 😠 😠 Jacked up the car spun the wheel no noise eg grinding sound at all. It only does it when it's had a long run
  3. Yes and had a burning smell from the same side. Disc was very hot though
  4. Got a little problem. No noise nothing. 40 mph small vibration then it stops 50 pmh still nothing then vibration like its wheel balancing is needed Then it stops. 60/70 mph nothing at first then vibration wheel gets really hot but it's not the brakes binding or the caliper sticking. Wheel baring OK all other major parts good. Has anyone got any good ideas what is causing this 😠 😠 😠
  5. I've had a couple of quotes from different garages. You can not just Remap it and that's what a lot of garages are doing. A remap is 2 gig the fix is 4 gig from what I have been told. I'm trying to find out more information so I can keep people posted
  6. I would tell everyone that they should NOT have it done. You are right with the what you are saying though. Mine is sluggish drinks more fuel. I brought this car for towing purposes when I'm towing I was getting 42 to the gallon now since it has had the fix I'm down to 30 to the gallon. I've been back to skoda to have it looked at but they say nothing can be done. I'm still not a happy bunny. It's going to cost me £250 to get it put right but not with skoda
  7. Who can do the roll back after the fix that skoda did... I'm in Hertfordshire
  8. The thing is how many more people are having the same problem I've seen some reviews and I'm not on my own my car is only used on motorways that's how I know what it is doing performance wise
  9. Yes now it seems I fighting a loosing battle having spoken to Skoda Uk twice and have spoken to my dealer. The dealer is going to try and rectify the problem so I'll keep you posted WATCH DOG HERE WE COME
  10. Hi I've just had my superb re-maped and I have noticed that my fuel consumption has risen by18%. When travelling at 50mph in 6th gear it takes a while to get to 60mph I used to get 64mpg going to Peterborough (I've done this trip for the last 3 years) now I can only get 51mpg NOT GOOD
