Would I be better off asking where the damp smells coming from then? Ha

The inner door seal I suspect is what you mean, the one the door closes onto? part number 6Y0867365C I think for the fronts, 'price on request' suggests difficult or impossible to still get from Skoda. Scrapyard may be better bet.
Rear door leaks are very unlikely to be anything to do with this seal, you have to go deeper into the door structure. Ample discussion here: http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/2158-warning-fabia-door-leaks/
The only things you'll need to buy are some of the door card clips and a tube of Plumber's Gold.
When washing car, small trickles of water running down the rear windows (on the inside btw haha), pointed me towards the seal. Thanks anyways though!

The big chunky seal, no idea what it'll be called haha. The front two have splits in them so was just going to change them all. Rear doors do let water in at the bottom of the door. Well there's water sat on seals below door when open them not sure if it's coming from somewhere else and just sitting there.

I've needed new door seals for some time now, not in a mad rush and not done much homework... Clearly.
Does anyone have recommended suppliers or can point me in right direction?
Dealership told me they were discontinued in 2018 and I'm not convinced on the seals i have saw on other websites. I'm not wanting trial and error of buying online, trying them out and returning them if they don't fit.
Recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks

It's not been started but has been moved since. Yeah it must of been throwing out at the start but I couldn't tell. Yeah someone mentioned it maybe wasn't starting due to crank sensor or something. Was just making sure.
-
I did, 12v was there. I've got a new starter coming to rule that out anyway. The right one this time hopefully. Cheers

New starter came from ebay.. (wrong starter came from ebay) already removed original one from car. Tested it again outside car with battery and it fired fine no matter how many times I tried it. Refitted it, nothing. When turn key back to off position can hear the splined drive falling back in to casing so sounds like it's doing it's thing. Could the crank position sensor or something be causing problems?
-
Put 12v straight to starter and nothing. Will get new starter unit ordered. Cheers

Tested wire of doom and voltage ok, still not starting. Within the new solenoid plug there's a purple plastic ring. Sure it wasn't in the old one? Will I try break it out?
-
Few years back the infamous wire to the starter had broke, joined it with block connector and worked fine ever since.
One night before the hard frost in December the car just wouldn't start. Got power with lights and radio etc but no click when turning key right round.
Split and rejoined wire but still nothing. Pulled old solenoid off and tried putting spade terminal directly into the port on to the blade. Still nothing. Was told this should definitely do something but nope.
Ordered new solenoid plug but just want to check if anyone else has any ideas?
Starting to think it isn't this problem.
Cheers

Is there an adhesive sort of mastik thing put on them to stop the rattling of the carrier? Got my regulator changed and theres always been a rattle when taking off coming from the door
-
Once warning lights were replaced the interior lights worked straight away.
-
They didn't fail I accidentally smashed them to pieces on separate occasions after them dangling out the door for weeks
-
Needing to replace front wheel bearing. Enter reg on euro car parts and it comes up with two different front wheel bearing. Different fitment details, anyone know which one will be the right one?
-
Replaced both door warning lights and it solved the problem. Cheers anyways
-
yeah it still beeps
-
the bulb has definitely not blown as it works when the switch is slid to left for all 3 interior lights to work. When key is removed from ignition its in total darkness. the centre light only works when all 3 lights are turned on
-
The light does come on when it's slid to the far left option. Sorry I thought it didn't. Just when it's in the position for the door being open it doesn't work.
-
Fuse was blown, interior lights do work now but the main centre light still doesn't come on no matter what position the sliding switch is in. Will there be any other fuses for this? Cheers
-
The red door warning lights have been hanging out the doors for a while. i accidentally shut one in the door and now both sides don,t work and the interior light does not come on when the doors are open.
Just wondering if its maybe shorted out or something?
cheers

I did think that, they seem to be all sealed up. Carpets always been dry too. Maybe worth resealing them. Cheers folks
