yeah im aware of the stutter but the one i drove did hav the stutter the salesperson told me, however i didnt notice it. the thing with the seat is that its about an extra 3 grand and i could chip the fabia under warrenty for

just id inform everyone that i went for test drive and confronted the dealer about the stutter. they said it is a characteristic of the engine whih they are trying to get around, but there last attemp resulted in high emissions making it illegal as a euro 4 engine. during the drive i did not detect a stutter and the salesperson said the did hav one around 1800rpm as it was their car

just had a test drive and im well impressed. the power was awesome, id go as far to say its as quick as the focus in std trim. much more comfy and steering alot lighter and alot alot smoother. as someone else said its not as much a drivers car but i want one.

but a chipped vrs will be quicker than the focus will it not? just read thru the stutter thread and im not clear if there is a fix for it or not, can someone give me definitiv answer plz thanks

im lookin into buyin a vrs and im a bit concerned with all the issues peeps are talkin about. should i buy new or 2nd hand for best relibility and wat are dealers like for warrenty issues

so would u say that the xenons are a must then coz i eas lookin at 2nd hand buys and there is bargains to be had if i dont go for the xenons

thanks evryone. 1. how do i tell if the car has euro 3 or euro 4 engine 2. i duno why i neva looked at them but id imagine they are both much more to buy and i dont like em (bmw 1 and mini) 3. my dealer has said if they fit the chip (upto 178bhp apparently) i keep the warrenty. 4. i went for the vrs coz it looks ace, goes very quickly with the potential for more and returns ace mpg while bein super cheap to insur compared the car iv got now- focus st170 group 15/16ins and 25mpg are killin me

also i cant see the pics on the sticky for the wheels any ideas why?

i am lookin at buyin a vrs and wana know if there is anythin to look out for and any advice. think i want a new one with leather and xenons. also wat sort of loss in mpg do u experience when the car is chipped thanks
