I must say, never had a issue with the cup holders, works well with cardboard coffee mugs, works well with plastic soft drink bottles. Travel mugs look far too big nowadays

I think a lot of the issues with the fuel is down to price really. No MPG changes reported here. Price of fuel is silly currently. MPG can be effected by tyre pressure, outside temperature, weight, altitude change etc

I believe all these ‘faults’ are more down to personal taste. Assists can be turned off. plus I’ve never had a issue with wheel spin pulling away in the 1.5tsi dsg, maybe being more gentle with the acceleration or check tyre tread?

Not a factory option, something I’ve done myself.

I’ve used £30 ebay universal roof bars on my car for three years now. I use them to transport kayaks regularly a few times a month and I’ve never had any issues. They clip on and off. I take them off when not in use. couldn't justify spending big money.

A few companies do these now. Latitude do some nice ones for a lower price.

All depends where the power and torque has been coded. Has it been low end, balanced or the high end. Was it a custom map or a generic one?

Black or dark roof lining on all models and less body roll would be handy.

From modifying experience it should be fairly simple, different struts and springs. ( although headlight levelling sensor or adaptive cruise sensors might need recoding ) bumpers should be a straight swap and if not a few cable ties will help secure the bumper. depends if you want an exact replica or something taller for some rugged roads.

Sounds like you are maybe used to the torque of a diesel geared engine. Petrol engines work better with higher revs
