I think I'm going but unsure with Yorkshire Skodas or MQB Owners club (as the vRS will stand out)

I'm in the kitted out race blue vRS - Don't hesitate to wave if you spot me

Nice! Get a turbo muffler delete - £55 off ebay for a simple one (looks the same) - Fantastic noises form all this induction!
Exhaust - Only needs a res delete to get some nice noise.Rieger diffuser is about £180 and a great OEM looking piece of kit. Easy to swap over too.
I have the Maxton splitter which I think looks awesome - So does the Rieger but it's a lot more expensive!

Remap done - Couldn't dyno due to it being hired out but pushed the stage 2 map and it feels super quick!
What a difference!

My Uniroyal rainsport 3s just last about 9k miles -Same tyres lasted @Ant-Vrs had them lasting about 5k
-
10 litres of oil = £35 filter = £15 mechanic service = £50
No more than £100. -
Tomorrow is remap day!

That's perfect, thanks @creamvRS. MRC recommend the R600 intake but suggest the Turbo Technics intake pipe and don't bother with the muffler. Tempted to go for the full VWR kit as you have - it's quality kit with OEM looks, and they'll fetch good money when the time comes to sell up. Hard to come by second hand at the moment though!
Yeah, I really want to attend a meet but we're away this weekend - at a toddler festival Don't ask!
I shopped round FB marketplace and ebay - Got the hose in blue brand new from Awesome gti for £90 posted next day. R600 was £220 ish, elbow was ebay used £75 and muffler delete (which is wicked and makes a wicked woosh when letting off acceleration) £65 off FB.Join FB groups like MQB owners club, TSI tuning, TSI parts for sale, golf r uk owners etc

Need to clean the car ready for Skodafest on Sunday -
Shark Performance next week!!! So excited for some gains

@jaygemson
Yeah I cannot wait for the gains!
So far I've purchased new/used VW R600 induction kit which is the full box and filter, racing line hose, racing line elbow and racing line turbo muffler delete - Suction noise is wickedExhaust I'm a bit frankenstein - Had smaller back boxes put on which made no difference, then had a mid res delete which gave the noise to the exhaust. Then I've purchased a 3" milltek downpipe with 200cell sport cat (used off a Golf GTI) but I still have stock Y joint which I really should change.
I've also upgraded to like £120 NGK racing spark plugs in prep for stage 2.
DSG too so is quick already but I know Stage 1 and beyond just transforms it.
I booked my map session with Shark off a charity day and they were doing discounts so it was £325
I wanna slay some Golf R boys
Thought about Skodafest this Sunday? -
Looks great! Nice plans too!!
I'm at Shark Performance next week to go from a stock map on my 220 (pushing 242hp) to stage 2 and beyond 300 somewhere

Cheers creamvrs The build quality of the Russian strut does actually look better now comparing the 2 especially the ends of the strut on the Russian version looks more triangle'd, tougher, & I see there is a bit of the strut that is thinner? do you know if the Russian strut comes as red or blue, I will probably get it powder coated (Black, pearl white, yellow, lime green loads of other colours) can't decide but would cope with either colour of whats delivered.
Mine and Ant's came like a flat blue. Nice finish. I went for Porsche Acid Green and powder coaters came back with like Skoda Metallic Green - I then couldn't be arsed to do my calipers too so re-did strut in post box red.- 1

Ant fit mine at the weekend - Caps of wipes, bolts off wipes, boiling water poured on then pull wipers off. Scuttle out.
then 3 top mount bolts off but might be best on a flat surface as we did it on sloping drive and the top mount moved out of line.
fit it, it's snug - Thne bolt up, and reverse - scuttle back, wipers on etc.
We have the russian one - Cost about £35 item, £35 postage, £25 customers
Then got powder coated here for £10-20

did you have any issues with the reps as the pretorias dont have a lot of metal and a pal was trying to talk me out of pret reps as a winter wheel. any buckling etc?Only been on 2 days! Lots of Golf R boys stating a lot stronger than legit prets (despite a bit heavier) and getting good reviews.
