  1. Cotswold started following My car is offline
  2. For some reason, my car stopped communicating with the app yesterday. After 24 hours I got fed up of not being able to remote start the heating in this cold weather. According to the screen, the car claimed that there were full bars of LTE and internet connection. The SOS button was also green, but still the app said the car had not connected for 24 hours. So I pulled fuse 19 for 5 minutes. No improvement even after turning the car on a moving it. Then I pulled fuse 30 for 5 minutes. After turning the car on and moving it a little, it appeared as Connected in the app again and remote heating working again. I'm not sure what car owners who do not know about which fuses do what would be doing to overcome this problem!

If you have ANY problems with the flap on the Enyaq iV, I suggest asking for it to be replaced. Mine got stiffer and I contacted the dealer, and they said they would replace it. I'm glad I go it booked in, because a few weeks later it broke and will not stay closed when locked. So I have to tape it shut at the moment!! The dealer says the replacement is a long job because their battery specialist has to power down the main battery pack before the job starts. So, it is an all day job.
  4. Be interested how you get one
  5. There were two things I'm really wanting out of the update (due for me next week): Reversing Camera too dim at night (cars with standard rear light option). Charge scheduler does not work properly at the moment. So say, both are fixed now.
  6. Fuse 19. So often mentioned (and used to reset faults) that perhaps we should all wire it to a switch on the dashboard!
  7. Of course, this will come as 'total shock' to dealers, who have been telling me and many others 'there are no updates for your car and we know nothing of the ME3 software'. Great to see official statement that it includes rear camera update and quieter turn signals, as well as better battery management.
  8. Good suggestion, but unfortunatly not. I've checked that now and behaviour is the same.
  9. Does anyone know the answer to this mystery. Like most VW group cars, if you press and hold the lock / unlock button on the key fob, the windows will open or close. The manual tells you this, but says it applies to all 4 windows. On my car, 90% of the time, it only opens / closes the front windows. The other 10% of the time, it does all the windows. I've tried multiple presses, long holds, odd combinations, cannot seem to make all 4 windows open on command. Thanks
  10. Still looking great after 8 months
  11. A good video covering all the items fixed or new in Software version 3.0.0 Now we just have to find out how or when existing customers can get it!

Quite a number of sources said it should be out some time in 2022, so hoping some time soon. Mine is on 0792. Dealer says there are not updates, although obviously 0795 is ahead of my 0792...

Has anyone actually had the software update done by their dealer yet?

A good video by Skoda team themselves
  15. Will do thanks. Important to know the time is limited, as at 4 months already. Maybe get it done and the much expected Enyaq software update as well in Feb....
  16. Does anyone else have this issue on an Enyaq with the manual boot lid (not the electric one). Since new, the boot release has always seemed from the noise like it was 'tight' and the boot did not close without a good shove. But I have now noticed that the boot lid seems a little too low and has left a witness along the top of the rear bumper. Obviously when it is closed hard it is rubbing the bumper (but when at rest, there is a gap OK).
