Your dealer can, I think, find out what's in stock in the UK. A car from stock should be available pretty quickly. A factory order will take some time as there's a factory shutdown coming up and ther are holdups with petrol cars with the new filters required. I suppose it depends to a large extent on the model and spec you want. Good luck with your search!

I think that when the emergency braking reacts is related to how fast you're reversing. I had this the other day but was crawling really and it activated about 10 inches off the wall. It gave me a bit of a fright too!

This sort of situation adds insult to injury! The issue is probably that it's such a long time since you were initially credit checked for the finance. If so, it's two minutes work to recheck your credit file to see if anything has changed. Utter shambles is right! VW finance should have a process in place for when this sort of issue happens and ensure that their already irritated customer doesn't blow a gasket. How hard can it be?

Eh? I've read on here about people getting loan cars, tyres and servicing work paid for on their old cars etc. I would suggest you escalate it to the Executive Office and copy in the new MD. From what I've read, Skoda really dropped the ball on the pricing of the 245 leases and seem to be keeping customers waiting in the hope they cancel their order. That couldn't possibly be true, could it . Hearing a lot of this, unfortunately.

That's outrageous!! I do hope Skoda are looking after you and offering you some sort of compensation.
