    Very true 😂 they just all seem to sound very similar to stock. I've made up my mind and ordered the resonated scorpion exhaust! At £700 I think is a very reasonable price. Hopefully gives it a nice sound and not to ricey 👍 I have also turned the sound actuator because that can get very tedious.

    Still struggling to choose 🙄 does anybody on here actually have a Non-res system on their car? Like was said in the post the videos on YouTube just don't seem to justify the sound

    Thankyou for the reply. The car is my daily so I can understand where you are coming from. My only concern is that I will pay all that money for not a lot of difference. Will the resonated one still be a massive improvement over stock? Many thanks

    This is what makes it so difficult 😂 I just want some good noise because the VRS is so quiet, the misses has an audi TT with a nice exhaust and this makes me really jealous 🤣 will the resonated bit much different?

    I've managed a 11.5s 100-200 kmh with mine stage 1 octavia, I've had a rolling race with a friends c43 and was slightly pulling on him (wasn't to pleased) 😂 I quess so much is lost through weight and 4wd system. Do you know if the intercooler will need upgrading if going to stage 2?

    Maybe ill just ride with the OEM clutch till she pops 😂 do the superb feel as quick as the Vrs?

    Thanks for the reply ! I defianetly would be going down the Non-res route as may as well do it properly! I seem to be undecided between the scorpion or miltek. Miltek is about £200 more than the scorpion cat back, just a bit dubious of drone😑 The car is already stage 1 and hopefully push for stage 2 in the near future so ill be adding the downpipe is due time, then the clutch as I'm sure the stock one will not hold up.

    Need help The time has come to finally get a new exhaust for my mk3 octavia vrs. Let's be honest the stock one is pants! Any suggestions would be highly grateful! Many thanks

    It's the estate as well, I'm certain I can slightly increase the 100 - 200 time as boot was full at the time and also only recorded on my phone which I'm sure won't be as accurate as say dragy etc.

    Nice! Ive recorded a 5.8s to 60 and a 13.6s 100 - 200. Not sure if that is any good though. Mine is a petrol at 300bhp and 450nm

    Curious to know peoples 100 - 200 Kmh or 60 - 120mph times as stage 1 😀

    Looking to replace the OEM exhaust on my MK3 octavia vrs. What are your suggestions? The stock exhaust just sounds so quiet, my car is at stage 1 so feel it will compliment it nicely. Also should I go down the route of resonated or non-resonated???

    When you say stage 1.5 is that a stage 1 tune with some other modifications?

    That is a huge amount of torque for the stock clutch, I'm sure you would run into problems with that, would it be worth upgrading for piece of mind?

    . When you say turbo back, does that include getting getting the downpipe or does that come with a turbo back exhaust system? I think resonated would benefit me more then because the drone would drive me mad!! And I daily my car to and from work. All in all with the cat back exhaust and downpipe it looks like £1100? Would that be correct? Will definitely be looking for stage 2 in near future as I get a bug for a bit more power 🤣 Great write up tho ! Appreciate the effort 👌

    No problem! My car has done 85000 miles now and I have had my stage 1 tune for 10k! I'm on stock clutch and haven't experienced any clutch slip at all, I think it is just pot luck!

    Perfect advice there! Appreciate it. I might scrap that then and go for a full turbo back exhaust system. Is the turbo back worth it over the catback? Also would you recommend resonated or non resonated? Sorry new to this stuff 😂

    My car is booked in with a local company on Friday for a complete custom tune! I have heard really good thing from it so going to give it a try, I'm just glad to get rid of this rubbish DTUK box!

    Since having the tuning box I have gone through, high pressure fuel pump, low pressure fuel pump and also a stuck injector! I'm not saying that the box has caused this but I have been advised that it is most likely the cause.

    Hello all! Looking to stage 1 my car, does anybody have any experience with AMD Essex? I have been quoted £499 inc vat for a stage 1 remap. Includes on the road testing and dyno testing with printouts for before and after. AMD claim gains of 300/320bhp depending on car and an extra 100NM or torque. Would you peeps recommend AMD or go with something else? Many thanks
