  1. I copied across the whole file, with the 22 sub-files inside that. I have Amundsen. If you have the time, that would be great, thank you
  2. Thanks for the reply and info. Unfortunately, even going through this process (again), it just will not pick up on the fact that there is information on the card and I just get the 3 greyed out options.... I have just tried to update maps and that won't work either..... Very frustrating as I did this with my Mk2 and it worked like a charm! edit: I have just ordered a new 32g SD Card which will arrive tomorrow. Fingers crossed that will help. I'll let you know how I get on.
  3. Hi @varaderoguy , I have followed your instructions to the letter. I chose the top option (labelled firmware/updates). I selected 'Upgrade' as the next stage and then it took me to another screen with 'Choose input option'. and below that was listed CD Disk USB SD Card All three are greyed out. I have also tried to update via the settings and 'Update Software' This option goes to a green rotating circle but after a few minutes comes back with no media source to allow update. Can you or anyone else assist with why and what I might be doing wrong? As I said, I have followed your instructions and tried with several different cards but, user error can never be ruled out. Andy
  4. Hi @pab567 I have just fetched my new (for me) Skoda Superb Mk3 65 reg. I am looking to update the FW and maps (maps currently downloading). Can you say if there is a FW update and what that would be (a link to it possibly?). Currently, the screen is showing the following....... Device part number: 3V0035020A Hardware: H42 Software: 0318 Navigation database: V03959801JJ0122 ECE 2015/2016 V03959801JJ 0122 ECE Thanks in advance and hopefully your help. Andy
  5. Hi, no it wasn't in the options anywhere. I had to turn it on. Thanks so much to Mark for your directions. All sorted and working now. It took a little working out to realise what to press to bring up Byte 12 but got there in the end. I would have never found it without your support. Thank you again. Andy
  6. I thought it was me but I have searched and checked all sections and checked again. This is what is showing on my 'Lights & Vision'. Do the footwell lights when driving work off another fuse compared to when they come on when opening the door etc? I only ask as for all the fuse holders available, there isn't an excessive amount of fuses.
  7. Hi Roy, Thanks for the images. Sadly I haven't got that option showing :-(
  8. Hi Mark, Thanks for the info the other day. I did try to find it via what you said but got a bit lost and could not actually find the screen that you posted showing the tick option. Any chance of explaining where I need to look to be able to get to that page? Regards, Andy
  9. I have double checked the Convenience section and there seems to be no option to turn on or off. The lights do work as they come on when you enter the car or turn the engine off, when they slowly fade to off. Thanks Mark for the update. I will give it a go and update.
  10. Are the footwell lights on as standard on a Mk2? Currently mine come on when I enter or exit the car but are not on low when driving. I have looked for the option to turn them on but there is nothing in the Light settings options. Do you have to turn on the option via a Ross-Kemp cable and if so, has anyone got the code? Thanks in advance. Andy
  11. All sorted now thanks. Bluetooth and cambelt changed and all 'issues' sorted.
  12. Sadly I have the old Bluetooth module fitted into my 2010 Superb and can't actually use the hands-free system (although it does pair with my LGG4 and shows contacts etc, but disconects from the network when paired to the car). Instead of trying to find and pay a lot of money for a new module, does anyone know if one of these would fit into the rear of my columbus header unit? https://m.reichelt.com/gb/en/?LANGUAGE=EN&CTYPE=0&MWSTFREE=0&CCOUNTRY=447&ARTICLE=181645&PROVID=2788&wt_guka=36851453161_103647095777&PROVID=2788&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgb3OBRDNARIsAOyZbxBNv7qE7o9e7g-eCyyp2uj-uGutWEIv-ax5lKMPzWd5Gy3cW1QWoKEaAkYOEALw_wcB
  13. Managed to weedle my hands into the necessary space and get the said sensor off. Think I found the problem....... Not great after owning the car for 2 weeks bought from a garage having to shell out for repairs Never mind..... Just the Bluetooth and cambelt to go
  14. My proximity and parking system is not working on my 2010 Skoda Superb estate. I 'think' that I have discovered why. The front parking sensor on the front bumper (right-hand side of the number plate as you look at the front of the car) is damaged (clue is the number plate is cracked and a diagnostic says so as well.) 1. Does anyone know the part number to replace it. 2. Any tips to help make the replacement easier. 3. Anything else I would have to 'reset' to make it work afterwards? Thanks in advance. Andy
  15. Was your sound like a low level regular thud at low speeds (20/30mph) on the rear (as if the start of a wheel bearing going)? Had a garage check and they said all was well with the bearings and could not find anything. Very irritating. Any ideas?
