Thanks for that, however it still doesn't reset the service interval, it just resets the mileage to zero. I still cannot get the inspection now warning to disappear 😣

What was / is the Service Indicator set at now. Was / Is it on Variable Servicing and counting down from 24 months,
or on Fixed after being set last time and 9,400 miles / 372 days?

I think it's on fixed servicing as it was serviced by Skoda 9,500 miles ago. I'm not sure how to definitively check and how to change it on the car.

I got a mechanic friend to service my Fabia recently (using Skoda parts), and he reset the notification warning regarding how many miles was left until the service was due. However it then came up saying the inspection was due in X days and began counting down. As we are in lockdown I can't take the car to him to reset it, and as the countdown has reached 0 it now says inspection due every time I start or stop the car. Is there a way I can reset it, or does the car need plugged into a diagnostic unit to reset?

Yes it works fine through Android auto, it just won't work through Bluetooth. I reported it to Oneplus and they got back in touch asking for me to run some tests and send them the logs, however the logs that my phone produces does not match theirs. Every day I try and run the tests but the required logs don't produce even when I follow their steps perfectly.

Yes, unfortunately I think you are correct, I think it is a phone issue but was hoping someone would have suffered the same problem and managed a workaround or fix for it. Ive just checked the update website as you suggested and I am using the most current version.

I collected our new Superb at the weekend and have been getting used to the Columbus system and everything that it can do! I think it's fantastic, however I am having an issue with my mobile phone playing music through Bluetooth. I can connect the phone to the car and use it hands free for calls, but as soon as I try and stream music from my phone to the car, the details (track name, album picture etc) all appear on the stereo and it starts playing for a few seconds and then it goes silent. The song appears to still be streaming (the song progress bar continues to move and song length carry on counting up) but there is no actual sound coming out. I have tried lots of things to sort it but to no avail. I have searched online and it appears that its an issue with my phone as other people with the same make and model as me have the same issues with different car makes, but I cant find a fix for it.
I have a Oneplus 5 smartphone running Android 8.0 and I know it is a bit of a long shot, but has anyone had the same issue as this and if so, did you manage to sort it? Or does anyone have the same make and model of phone as me but it works ok?

Picked up the car on Saturday from Thomson & Potter Skoda in Perth
First impressions are really good, very comfortable, quiet and refined. The ACC is simply brilliant and the xenon headlights are outstanding. The automatic main beam control is really good too, so much more responsive than the one on my previous car (Vauxhall). I like the onboard wifi, google maps etc but have found an issue trying to play music through bluetooth from my phone as it goes silent after a few seconds and wont play which is bugging me! However this appears to be an issue with my phone (Oneplus 5) as opposed to an issue with the car.
I had a few doubts about the colour we chose (Petrol Blue) after I had ordered it but now that I see it, I am delighted. The garage I collected it from is a couple of hundred miles away from home, so it had a good first run out but its now filthy! I was going to clean it later this week and take a couple of pictures but I was leaving work last night and the sunset was fantastic so I thought I should take a couple of snaps!

@Svend What sort of MPG are you getting from your car in the hilly A & B roads of Cumbria?

I am hoping some 1.4 150bhp petrol owners will be able to give me some advice. I am about to order a new Superb SE L Exec, however I am having a dilemma about whether to go with Petrol or Diesel? My daily commute is only 10 miles each way and most weekends I do a couple of hundred miles, therefore I thought a Petrol may be better as there wont be any DPF issues or concerns. However as I live in the Highlands of Scotland we have a LOT of hills and I am concerned by the performance of the Petrol engine in terms of Fuel economy and grunt (I know the 2.0 TDI has the same BHP, however it has more torque) with all of the steep inclines. What sort of MPG are you getting on hilly A & B roads?
We also have a lot of tourist traffic (sitting at 40 or 50mph) with lots of corners and short straights, which means you need it to be a bit nippy mid range, to allow overtaking. Again, is the petrol gutsy enough for this, or would the added torque of the diesel be better? I have gone to 2 different Skoda garages to test drive a superb, however one was the much more powerful petrol and the other had an auto box, and the route the driver took me on didnt give me a chance to properly test it out (I wont be going back to that garage!).
Hope you can help as I really dont know which way to go. I think the Petrol may be better as I dont do a huge amount of miles (about 13,000 a year), however I dont want to buy it and find that it doesnt have the overtaking power I want and that the fuel economy in my hilly area is atrocious.

Resetting Inspection warning on 66 plate (Y17) Fabia

Thanks for all you're help, I have just managed to do it. What I had to do was the following:
1. With ignition off and all doors closed, press and hold the trip reset button.
2. Turn the ignition on and keep pressing the trip reset button until the Oil reset message appeared.
3. Let go of the trip reset button and don't press anything else for a couple of seconds (I had always pressed the button again to reset this, as I was expecting the Inpection warning to appear afterwards but it doesn't as it only resets the mileage (not the inspection warning).
4. After those few seconds of releasing the trip reset button, the display will change to say reset Inspection warning, only then press the trip reset button & bingo it's done 😊.
