Had my Skoda octavia checked by an auto tech cos I was getting the same code turns out to be vacuum pump which after shopping around cost about £210 .....

Can anyone help... every now and then I get a fault code p2563 which is the turbo boot position sensor on my Skoda octavia 2012 but was wondering whether I could clean my sensor if I new where it was or do I take it to an auto elec who is probably gonna tell me I need a actuator which are common faults on the skodas the car runs ok most of the time but when the management light come on 3 times a day you know you have to sort it.....

There is no codes that’s what makes me think it’s on the fuel side.....!!

I’ve got a Skoda octavia mk2 just had an egr fitted and crank sensor but still got issues with it cutting out when I try to start it was wondering whether now it’s a fuel problem..... any ideas??

I had the same problem with my octavia mk2 tdi but came up with a p0061 code which is the crank sensor so I’ve changed the sensor which are about £23 all right for a couple of hours but started to go back to cutting out again when turned over so think now it’s a fuel problem......

Hi just got a p2196 code up says it the O2 sensor which commonly known as the MAF sensor... checked all pipes and wiring no issues gonna change the sensor see if that works.... any other ideas if no difference?
