  3. Im totaly bemused tbh, the jumping out of gear thing was most likly I thought, but when i changed into 4th still nothing. Im going to take it to mike at IP so hopefully He will know, with regard to the clutch, today I was parked outside and put it into 1st and it crunched, i tryed again and it crunched and then a 3rd time, I then skipped 1st and put it into 2nd followed by all the gears then back to 1st and it was lumpy, Im thinking my flywheel and uprated clutch is nearer then i anticipated!.

  6. Total loss of drive, ANd I downshifted from 5th to 4th still no drive, I had my car vag-com'd at the meet and was chuffed their where no faults, so it was not a thing that was waiting to happen

I was driving back from WSM meet and suddenly on the motor way their is a loud thud from the engine, and i loose drive, I pull over onto the hard shoulder tickle the accelerator and the needle dances around alot, I turn the octavia vrs off and look under the bonnet, No broken/leaking anything so I start it up and rev it again seems fine, I drive off slowely and all is well, I give it beans and all is well. What the hell happend?!?! I never heard of this before, when i lost drive the engine was still runing with no dash lights so blah

  13. Wuss Nah Its just looks proper when lowerd lvl like I wish, maybe it wont be practical but luckily where I live speed humps do not exist because I live in Richmond and no cars get stolen or raced here k thanx!.

  17. Is anybody going to this in april? I went last year and was mucho fun, obviusly Im going this year aswell. Dont think I'll be allowed to silverstone for the F1 this year tho mucho moneys! 1k last year!!
  18. You too Des, keep me posted on the pipes eh? Figures should be around 220-230 bhp I'll get RR'd once the exhaust and suspension is done, Cost was 750 all in. Other tuner is a secret as I dont wanna dis anybodys fav choices, Basicaly what me mate said was I got more bang for my cash.
  19. My ABD racing pipe, TIP, Forge DV and impossible ecu upgrade is now complete. Luckily I had 90 miles to drive home and me and my mate was just sat their with massive grins on our faces, The noise and speed is shocking over standard, I now need a radar detecter and glasses to see all boys in blue, the performance gains are nothing short of amazing, The gearing seems much much longer as their is power all the way to the redline now and 5th gear sits you back in your seat, the low down grunt is very nice and the noise at low revs is very touring car like. I imagine when I upgrade my shocks n springs it'll feel faster again due to better grip, Above all the most shocking thing is when cruising at 50 on the moterway in 5th the road clears and you open it up and I was shocked when I looked at the speedo to see massive speed had built so fast. All the above was done in 2 hours and at a very good price with a decent discount for brisky's, I recomend Impossible performance for all your tuning needs. I took my mate out whome had his Audi tuned at another well known Tuner and he was gutted he whent their after a ride in mine.

My VRS goes into Impossible performance tomorra for an ABD racing induction kit, ABD TIP, Bailey DV30 and a custom remap, HOWEVER my exhaust will be standard as i have spent months deciding and I just cant find what I reqiure. eBay.co.uk: SKODA OCTAVIA VRS Performance Exhaust System (item 280094676896 end time 26-Mar-07 10:33:29 BST) Is this any good? Can anybody recomend with a link a full cat back "200" cell system? Obviusly I'll be going back to impossible when I find an exhaust for the map to be tweaked but im not botherd as Impossible will do the 1st tweak for FREE.

I was thinking of Doing this, however My mate Sudjested Bonnet vents, I looked at the old Astra GTI vents they are small and sexy, also the WRC skoda bonnet is vented aswell but they are huge However I expect some after market company does smaller ones?. But that said Is my mate correct, will bonnet vents act the same as the wheel arch? heat rises after all
