  1. Thank you very much. Cant wait to get it activated. Also can I ask you Sasha, the traffic sign recognition one I can find the Car Function Adaptations Gen 2 under the Adaptations menu in module 5F. Many thanks for the help
  2. Hi can anyone help. When trying to get the drls to dim when indicating using the info below I'm getting a weird outcome. When the passenger side indicator is on both drls dim and flash and when the driver side indicator is on neither of the drls dim. Not sure why both sides do it when passenger side indicator is on and nothing happens when driver sides on. Ive double checked and triple checked the correct datas been entered. Anyone have any idea what is going wrong or what could I be doing? Many thanks
  3. Hi all, Can anyone help me locate the parking aid control module on an Octavia Mk3 VRS TDi? Part num 5QA919283A I have been having problems with parking sensors for a while now and a scan with carista flagged up the control module at fault. Sometimes they work perfect, sometimes not at all and sometimes they go nuts when reversing aa if somethings right behind me when its not. I can get a 2nd hand part off internet and was going to try fit it myself if anyone knows if its an easy job or not. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. Yes reverse lights are working fine its a louder and longer pitch sound than you get when the reverse gear is selected. I tried listening for the clicks on each sensor but found it hard with background noise.
  5. Parking/steering assist Part #: 5Q0919283B Coding: 0001050011 (hex) Component: PARKHILFE 4K Fault codes: 1079345 Manufacturer-specific code
  6. Hello all. Wondering if anyone has come across this issue. Yesterday when I put car into reverse instead of hearing the usual beep and image on screen for reversing proximity sensors I got a loud 3 second high pitch noise with nothing coming up on screen and seemed like sensors weren't working. Since then the system does this regularly even when it seems like sensors are working after a second the high pitch noise reappears and the proximity sensors on screen disappears. I did run diagnosis on carista and got a parking/steering assist fault with code 1079345, however when I searched on internet for this code nothing was returned. I've read few similar posts on this but didn't really get a definitive solution, anyone any ideas or is a trip to dealers needed :( Its a 2014 Octavia VRS DSG TDI Thanks
  7. Hi, Could somebody send me the link for the latest software for MIB1 by PM please? I have a VRS will the update effect the VRS logo on start-up? Thanks
  8. 2nd hand card off ebay worked a treat. Has the 2014 maps though not going to risk updating it just yet after the nightmare the first time. Anyway thanks all for your input
  9. Was definately the latest maps there is no updates for software for my system at min. When I put card in it shows a message that navigation data has been entered then it says please insert valid navigation data. Ordered a 2nd hand card off ebay I will let you know if that solves it.
  10. Did you have issues with card that was in car when you bought it when it came to updating the maps? Cheers
  11. Thanks anyway mate tried all that. Formatted card first time as NTFS would that have made any difference? Formatted as FAT32 after that to no avail. Dont really want to go to dealer but seems like only option. What about a 2nd hand card off ebay with same card number on front? Usually around 30 r 40 to buy but not sure if it'll work
