Hi I've just updated my Columbus mib 2.5 with your link above the VW lighthouse labs one , SanDisk SD card 64gb formatted to ex fat , 4096 bytes , extracted with 7zip . Extracted without errors and updated in the car without issue . I had failed with the Skoda update last week , I got the errors everyone else got but this one worked perfectly . Thanks to everyone for your excellent info 👌

I have downloaded the second link the Volkswagen one , extracted to formatted SD and loaded to my car (skoda octavia with columbus) all worked perfectly first time . thank you everybody for your excellent information and help .

Yes that clip just snaps into the hole from inside the car . Google the part number you'll see a picture of it. It will make sense then .

5G0 886 373 is the part number for the clip if you need it

I've done this on a 2015 vrs Combi their plug and play with correct adaptors . You have to do nothing with obd 11 . They will work perfectly .(your stop and tail in your existing lights are led, and indicator and reverse are bulb) the facelift lamps are exactly the same stop and tail led , reverse and indicator are bulb . The adaptors are in the link. This set is for the Combi there is another set for the sedan.
