  1. Don't think it will make it that far without doing more damage, but thanks for the offer. If I can get it to run some kind of right I'll let you know and pop over.
  2. the plugs have been in the car about 3 months now, but the issue came back after about a week of them being changed.
  3. It's a 2011 CAVE, Plugs were a NGK but I can't remember what cap they were ( it's been a while)
  4. where will this be located on this engine? is it on the water distribution block?
  5. Forgot to mention that there are NO codes stored ( which is confusing). And the injectors is my next stop, just wanted a 2nd option.
  6. Sorry its a bit late, Solved the issue with this, After i got a new motor and fitted it the issue was still there. I then decided to test the wires between the door and the fuse box. Where the door closes ( inside the rubber sleeve) there was a wire that was split. Turns out that the door harness is about 10mm too short and causes the wires to break. Problem solved but adding wire to the harness.
  7. Hi there, So my wife's car ( MK2 Fabia VRS) was struggling to accelerate for a while, so i gave it a service and everything was back to normal for a few days, but then, one morning it started up on only 3 cylinders. once it was warm it then ran on all four and drove as it should. Now a few months later ( and a LOT of head scratching later ) it starts on 2/3 cylinders on most morning and even when it is running on all 4 it still struggles to accelerate under full throttle. its had 4 new plugs (£25 each), 4 new coil packs, a full oil and filter change ( inc fuel filter). I'm ready to burn this car as I'm at my whits end. Any help or advice would be great.
