  1. Welcome Harry, Driving Vulvas sounds fun!
  2. There was a big issue back in April 2018 when Skoda stopped handover of new cars with signal booster fitted. They had to be removed due to "regulatory issues", I believe under Ofcom instruction. I was driving to dealer to pick up new car when I got the call that handover had been blocked. Was quite a lot of chat on hear at the time about this. I believe this just affected cars in the UK market.
  3. Hi Bap33, Likewise my side assist, blind spot monitoring and rear traffic alert not functioning. I read on here of others with this problem that was solved by a "software update". My car was in at the dealers today for some warranty work and I am told they have solved this issue by updating the software.
  4. Thanks Pegasus, this solved the "No Data" error I was getting on my Columbus MIB 2.5 when I tried to add the speed camera POI to my Superb yesterday. Massive thanks to you @bigade1 for all your work in putting together and maintaining this resource, you are a star! 👍
  5. Thanks for the your support guys. Obviously its only you few that know the truth, to everyone else I will be blaming Mrs Parked. Actually maybe Penguin on here can share some of the blame. Back in April when I posted a picture of the new motor he said..... "Oooft that kerb looks like it’s just waiting to attack your alloys"
  6. I decided to wreck my driver side front diamond cut alloy wheel
  7. I specified my Superb with a space saver spare wheel as I dread the idea of being stuck on the side of the road with a can of gloop. I also carry a 12v mini compressor, tyre gauge and those tyre repair strip kits https://www.amazon.co.uk/wlw-XtremeAuto-PUNCTURE-REPAIR-STRIPS/dp/B0031Q198W/ref=pd_sbs_263_10?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0031Q198W&pd_rd_r=3ba543f6-ae85-11e8-9ef1-419f427e8ea3&pd_rd_w=UrFV2&pd_rd_wg=1yuig&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_p=85d62760-2a0e-407d-aa36-f3c03afc01c3&pf_rd_r=RWK57PMKR5X54936DD0Y&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=RWK57PMKR5X54936DD0Y Great for getting yourself out of a tricky situation as you can use it with the tyre still on the car. My intention would be to use as a temporary repair until I could get to a tyre place. But saying that I had a car going in scrappage when I bought the Superb. Because handover was delayed due to the signal booster issue I ended up doing over a 1000 miles in the old motor on a tyre I had repaired in this way. The kit I bought was about £3 on ebay, in my opinion well worth it to give you another option if you do get a puncture.
  8. Checked on App and Desktop Portal and all fine with my Skoda Connect
  9. Have you got this sorted Technics? You have to make a selection through Columbus, if you or anybody needs me to i can go to car and list here the steps of what you need to select. Let me know
  10. Kessy works every time on mine now. First few days I didn't quite have the hang of it. When using to unlock just pull the handle as normal as if you were opening an unlocked car door, when locking touch the outside of the handle. I am sure you know but a quick visual check if you have locked correctly is wing mirrors folding in.
  11. That is a good idea! I have used it, but didnt want to do all my final trimming in a rush. Glad I didnt now as velcro on those flappy bits is a good thinking
  12. Having had a 530d saloon in which the rear seats did not fold I am loving the space of the Combi Superb. The new car also gave me the opportunity to do a few runs to the recycling centre. I had done some research on here looking at various boot liners etc. One tip I read on her was a guy who bought and cut some rubber matting to line his boot. I wanted a one piece solution that extended to the front seats. I know this solution wont suit all, but works for me. The way Ive cut it is not extending up the sides at all. The way I use it is just insert when moving something large and messy. Then it is out of the car, rolled, stored in rafters in garage. Be aware though it is heavy ish as I said it wont suit all, but for £25 it works well for me. Another benefit Penguin is I have a few off cuts which I intend to stick to my alloys for added protection
  13. Apologies BriskodaJeff, In my head I have blamed you for the night terrors, sleepless nights and panic over the last month. But on checking the thread you are right it was that sod Penguin. Sorry
  14. Hi Guys, Well I have had my Sportline for a month and I love it. I did post one quick picture just after getting it. Here are a couple more. Briskodajeff you will see alloys are still intact on passenger side. You mentioning the word "Kerb" and linking it to diamond cut alloys has caused me many sleepless nights Anyway main thing to say no issues so far. When reading forums you often get people with issues posting. I for one was posting a couple of times a day when I had delayed handover due to the signal booster problem. But been very quiet here while enjoying the car. So I think by the nature of that we can create a negative vibe. So thought it only fair to post again to say all is good! To sum up........... Love it
