First Skoda in Cornwall

Featured Replies

Hello Ladies and Gents

well I finally went and bought my first Skoda having driven Vulvas for the last thirty years. I am approaching 60 and thought nuts to it lets have some fun.

So I went and bought myself a 2012 MKII Octavia Vrs Estate DSG with paddleshift. 79k FSH and a busted passenger front window regulator. She is now in Murray Skoda Plymouth having the window done and the rubbers around the headlight fixed back as they seem to like coming out and flapping in the wind once you reach 60mph lol.

I am smitten and I she is so much fun. I drive an FLT for work and love photography. Really looking forward to talking to you guys and maybe meeting up when all this Covid19 malarky fades away a bit because lets face it, it ain't going away anytime soon is it.

So there we are, another Skoda convert.

regards

Harry

Just returned from Cornwall after been traumatised by the single track roads which traverse the county. Often been brushed by the untrimmed verges or having to reverse because of a dot.com van coming other way. To hell, we enjoyed Cornwall and I hope you do in your pocket rocket but stick on the A roads!!

:D:D indeed, I have a sticker on the back window that says.

Welcome to Cornwall your car ain't as wide as you think it is.

Hope you enjoyed our lovely part of the world but I will be glad when the Benidorm Brigade can go back to spain, we are struggling like hell down here this year, but nobody wants to report it.

Its the B roads we love down here, that and the A30 from Exeter west is just a divine drive at 3 in the morning when nobodys around 😜

The last one was a right old barge, turning circle of an oil tanker and brakes to match. I fell in love with that D5 5 pot diesel years ago. That growl is something from a factory standard lump. But onto pastures new and flappy paddle dsg funtimes ahead.
