  1. Hi guys, the steering lock on th mk2 vrs is causing me a lot of grief. When I put the key in the ignition and try to turn it won't turn. At first I though it was the steering lock but when turned the wheel, it unlocked but I still couldn't turn the key. After many attempts to turn and a lot of spraying with WD40 followed by many more attempts, it finally turned and the car started. Now I have to force it to start the car and force it to switch it off. Do you think my issue is the barrel or another mechanism. Thanks in advance
  2. I have a Mk2 petrol vrs and need some help identifying a part (blue arrow). One of the 3 hoses is split but I'm having trouble identifying it. The part number is not clearly visible either 🙁.
  3. Thanks for the advice. I disconnected the battery but there was no change. However a friend told me to check the battery in the key fob. Sure enough it had the wrong battery (2025 instead of 2032). Now the doors are opening, one click driver door and two clicks other doors
  4. Unlocking the doors with the key only opens the driver door and the fuel cap and it is no different when I open it manually (key in door). I ran a diagnostic and the following code came up for the rear doors and the front passenger door "supply voltage for door control module". I also got a fault code for the locking switch in the centre console. I'm assuming this points to a component they all share. Am I correct and if so, What's the part and where is it located Can it be fixed or does it have to be replaced As usual, your advice is more than welcome. Thanks in advance
