I no it’s an old topic but has anyone had any joys with this issue? My 2013 2.0 Octavia FL has the exact same issue. Lumpy idle but drives fine with plenty of power, does black smoke a little when you put foot down but it has been remapped so it’s expected/

Hi guys, so il cut straight to the point… I fitted a tracker to my 2013 FL scout (140 cr) in the side dash fuse box area and it seems since then I have no indicator tick or seat belt warning annoying beeps etc. I have seen many threads about this but I’m just wondering if there’s any chance I could of disturbed something in the dash fuse box area. I have checked for fault codes using my snap on diagnostic machine running on the latest software and apart from various codes for daft things like led lights etc and from having a flat battery a while ago there’s nothing that stands out in the instrument cluster section about the “no sound/ticks” etc. I do have a spare set of clocks that I used to replace the cracked front fascia so I do have a spare speaker I can remove and refit to my own clocks i f this will possibly cure it. Just wondering what people think or if I’m barking up the wrong tree. Many thanks guys, your help and views are appreciated as always.

2013 Octavia scout “angle box” fill point??
Mick562008 replied to Mick562008's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
My silver scout is a 2010 PD and I’m sure it’s the same as my 2013 (this one) although it’s not the PD it’s the 16v version think engine code is CLCB. there is another “plug looking type” of bolt directly above the drive shaft that I just managed to get a photo of but I’m just not sure as it seems to be far to high up as that would fill the entire box to the top with oil, can’t seem to find anything in the net about the fill point. -
Help locating the BCM/CCM (indicator fault)
Mick562008 replied to Mick562008's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Thanks for all the info, this is the first time this has happened upto now as I’ve done around 6 scouts like this... only difference is this is the first time I’ve used 55w hid instead of 35w hids. Has it ever caused any problems using LED H7 dipped beam bulbs instead of the HID kits? -
Help locating the BCM/CCM (indicator fault)
Mick562008 replied to Mick562008's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Could I get a second hand BCM and just copy my original code (long code) to the donor BCM or would I need to go threw the settings and do an exact like for like setup? As in changing the settings one at a time to the same as the original BCM or is it not that simple? I do no where there is another 2013 scout same as mine that’s been written off so I could potentially fit that ?? -

Help locating the BCM/CCM (indicator fault)
Mick562008 replied to Mick562008's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Hi guys thanks for the reply’s, yes I’ve got NOVSIGHT LED foglight bulbs fitted and also NOVSIGHT high beam bulbs fitted with dipped beam being HID and also activated cornering lights with fog lights and selected fog lights instead of dipped beam for arriving/leaving mode, but I did this a few weeks ago. My 2010 model scout is the exact same set up and that’s been fine for 2 years. The only difference is this time I got 55w hid canbus kit where as on my other I used 35w canbus hid kit. -
Hi guys, need some help or pointers on where to find the BCM or CCM on my 2012 Octavia scout. Randomly the front driver indicator has come on and stayed on even with key out etc etc. I have got fault codes but depending on how I test or what I’ve unplugged and plugged back in the codes change slightly. Indicator doesn’t flash just stays on, the mirror and rear flash as normal but the front just says on constant even when I’m not indicating... headlight plus is fine no corrosion etc, tried resetting car with battery disconnect etc and tried clearing fault codes but as soon as I plug the headlight in it’s instantly on. Even swapped headlight over from my 2010 model incase it’s internal headlight wiring at fault but still the same.

Mirror indicators which ones??
Mick562008 replied to Mick562008's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Thanks guys, yes I’m looking into making some myself as I’m good with electronics etc, just would of been good to buy them instead of trying to make them. In my line of work with everything that’s going on at the moment I’m working all hours so don’t have the time. But thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. -

Any body? Surly there’s another vehicle in the VAG range that shares the same mirror indicator
