Is that the only way to get what I need?

I really am in desperate need of the wiring diagrams of the rear lights of my car, as I need to install a towbar.

Do you have a wiring diagram for this?

Im looking specifically for the ones regarding the rear lighting and where to get a 12v power supply in the boot area.

I have tried all manor of things including this. I have tried all the different countries and tried unplugging the battery for lengths of time. I have tried again today and I get some very strange results (will post images shortly). The trip and odometer are in kilometres, but 'miles' is still written next to the trip number. All the large display options show no unit labels, I get 0.0 displayed where fuel consumption should be on the ave screen and live screen when the car is moving. I get distance until empty tank in km but as I say no label to say its that it just seems to be km rather than miles now. Then I get litres used in increments of 5 litres, well it seems thats the case there is no unit label to suggest that. I then get a 0 on what should be the distance screen, that may change but I need to drive around long enough to see if that changes. I then get what seems to be an average speed amount but again no unit label. The live speed screen is just '---' even when the car is moving.

Is there anyone on here that would be able to help me work out why my car won't display anything in metric? I would like to able to change things but it's just not working properly. I got it to display some units in km for a while, then it changed back today.

I was trying out the settings on my Carista with my Skoda Octavia MK2 2012 and saw it has options in the Carista app for changing the units, but not all of them will change over! I can change the tyre pressure one, but that does no good anyway as my car has no tyre pressure monitoring system. Changing the region doesnt change the units either its really odd. Can anyone shed light on this?

After plugging in my Carista to my Skoda Octavia I have this fault code: 0985 Rear Right Marker Lamp-M2 raw code 03D9 has anyone any idea what I should do about it? I have checked my lights are all working so I dont think its dangerous to drive, but would like to fix the issue if I can. I cleared the code after making a note of it.

Well Im sure that no one here will be surprised the Carista works. It cant customise everything though, I was hoping to change the measurement units as it advertised that it can do that, it just come up with an error.

Got this sorted with my Carista, it saw the airbag fault and some others and cleared them off.

As long as it works Im not fussed its old now anyway.

I also got a discount so only paid about £5 for it and dont mind if it turns out not to work as expected. I will let people on here know how it works out. Oh and yes I still have use of old operating systems so I will have no issues with software that apparently only works with systems up to XP! There are workarounds so I can use with modern hardware.

After chatting with other BRISKODA members last night I brought something different from Carista.

Surely my late 90s one should be OBD2 as all vehicles from 1996 are supposed to be OBD2?

I would like to know what OBD 2 scanners work with a 1.6 litre Felicia from 1999?

I have got the Carista now I think it will do what I want. I think I will have to ask in the Felicia section for OBD2 scanners that will work with that.

The Amazon listing says I get 1 free month of the paid app with that Carista device would that mean I get the full functionality for 1 month?
