We used to have a 2016 superb that got its speed limits from map data and it was very accurate provided you remembered it didn't know about temporary speed limits etc. Now we a camera based system on our 2025 model and it is wrong several times a journey. Sometimes you'd be cruising on a motorway and without warning it would start bleeping and flashing saying a 30 speed limit is in force. I'm glad I never use the speed limit cruise control. I'd probably be dead. In our area speed limit signs for side roads confuse it. This must be the most useless invention ever.

Thanks for that Badelhas. It worked but I did have to take the car to somewhere where there was a mobile phone signal. another setup question. How do you remove all the POIs for shops, retirement homes etc. They are all unticked in setup but they are still there on the screen. Has the map been corrupted for commercial gain?

We have just bought a second hand L&K and wish to set up two users like we did on our 2016 version but cannot work out how to do it. It seems to need a smart phone but I don't have one nor do I wish to use one. Microsoft Copilot gives lots of advice but none work (Pretty much normal for Copilot). Seat positions are OK with the buttons at the side but I like things such as distance units in SI whereas my wife likes imperial. Any advice how we can set the machine up?
