Hi, I have removed my clock spring to send it off for repair but before I did it I googled and it said the car would still be able to start and run without it (as obviously it was when it was broken anyway), but now I have reconnected the battery and the central locking will work again but the engine won't even attempt turning over, did I do something wrong? I know I'll be without the airbag and other functions run off the clock spring but I still needed to be able to move my car etc. until I get the clock spring sent back to me.

This isn't my photo but I am trying to find out what it is called as I broke this white cover on the yellow clip when taking off my steering wheel (as I have a broken clock spring), can anyone tell me the name and/or where to buy a replacement please?

@tetleyI ordered that and got my seats up etc., and it seems to be exactly the same but mine ends with a F, and now my car won't start with either plugged in, I don't suppose you know if the last letter actually crucial to the code or are they interchangeable and now I've triggered something else (since it won't start with either now)?

Thank you, mine looks like the second, but like your previous photo mine is missing number 4 and the 646 above it is the horn...why is it so hard to locate!

I have a 2011 1.8 TSI Scout, and my layout under thed dash is the same as your photo, but I (and my garage) cannot find the fuel pump relay - did you find it or know where it is on our models please?

Have an error code (garage confirmed, I don't have the specific code #) and symptoms of the fuel pump relay being intermittently faulty - but the garage could not find the fuel pump relay, it is not under the dash under the steering wheel (the 646 where we all expected it to be does the horn not the fuel pump) nor does it seem to be under the bonnet, please can someone with this make and model confirm where they have found it on theirs?
