  1. Definitely not a wire. At first I thought it was a melting drop of ice running down the screen but it actually didn't move or change and can't be felt externally or internally.
  2. Noticed a 3 inch crack leading down from the rain sensor yesterday. Can't feel it from within or without - it's within the glass. My windshield is heated - wondered if something had happened in the recent hard frost/drop in temp. Getting it sorted via windscreen insurance but flummoxed as to why. Anyone else had this?

Yikes thanks for the heads up. I’d better check my tyres on my new Karoq as I thought everything would be correct. Ta!

My Candy White SE L Karoq basking in the early morning sunshine.
  5. I have that issue as well …grrrrrrr Love my Karoq so I’ll learn to live with its foibles but I do wish Skoda would allow an SD retrofit…
  6. I really, I mean REALLY miss the SD card functionality when I replaced my 3 yr old Karoq with a new one - same model etc but the SD card ability has been removed. You now play via USB, Blue Tooth or Car Play but I’m struggling. The USB sometimes sticks on tunes or just stops. Car Play seems to drop connection randomly. I saw in the manual an ability save tunes to a My Playlist which appeared to be the car. Is that correct and, if so, how many tunes can it take? Any ideas because the manual isn’t great at elaborating…
  7. Unfortunately mine wasn’t so accommodating. SD card held a lot of my music - Type C the way to go 😏
  8. Many thanks 👍
  9. Just taken delivery of my new Karoq 21 - a replacement for my 2018 Karoq. What I didn't realise was that the SD card slots have been removed completely but they now have 2 small mini USB ports instead of the previous larger size. Do any intelligent people out there know which cable(s) I should now buy to connect to these smaller USB ports. I also need to connect my iPhone via USB, too. Those card slots were so darn useful. Just a niggle but annoying as I don't like playing through blue tooth etc. many thanks for any pointers. The manual in the car just shows shows where the ports are - not actually the type of connector you need.
  10. I’m in a Karoq so must check if it does the same warning as the Octavia
  11. Unfortunately I didn’t get a warning but that may be down to simply not using the car during the past 6 months as often as I do and so the battery died before the car could tell me. But good to know.
  12. No they didn’t. I was just so glad to get the fob working again. Any tips for how to do that on a Karoq?
  13. New batteries needed in the fobs. Batteries replaced and I’m back in business😁. And at least I now know what my ear splitting car alarm sounds like and also how to manually open the car door when the fob has failed.
