I have fault code of 02988 which is left right switchover active. I tried to dissble tourist mode via vcds but it wont let me because in the area of parametres it shows security access required even if I enter security code. My friend told me that coding could be done only via VAS 5054 diagnostic and I visited official skoda dealer and they told me they have this one.

It was fameous twindoor wiring issue. Fixed.

P.s. fog light works on left side perfectly. Only backup light does not!

Hi there, as you know superb has 2 backup lights , i have problem because the left one does not work and the right one works perfectly. I disconnected the wiring from left side and everything seems good. Also I disasembled trunk part to check wiring , no broken or loose wiriing also. My electrician told me that left and right side use same power and I am reallly confused why it does not work. Is there any way to pull out wiring from this part ( check photo) and to check 2 other wires? I know there is wire missing here but I fixed that !

By replacing injector as @chimaera said, it’s not an easy job. Plus you need to replace seals on each injector. You have on ebay just type injector repair kit and go to someone who knows what to do!

It is an awesome idea to disable egr and dpf filter. They don’t do anything good to the engine just clogging it up ! I have it done on my superb and even tuned car without it those filters and car works like charm, I pass every eco test. So, it was up to injector. Well , try to find just one injector and measure again. Mine injecotrs were +0.1;+0.1; -0.1;-0.1

My car is originally from Finland and my dad imported it to Bosnia and Herzegovina ( yugoslavia) . Today i went to skoda dealer and they said that they fixed problem with it but it seems they did not :( how they can’t fix it via odis (angry)

Where is master adaptation channel? I dont have it in maxidot !

Idk if you have some shop that can disable egr and dpf filters. If you do, then ask them to remove or drill dpf filter . After disabling egr valve go and clean intake!

So I have this fault, my headlights do “dance” at startup but there are no afs function because of some travel mode. Today I visited skoda service and they disabled it , but again my headlights are ‘fixed’. Here is the fault on diagnostics.

probably you would have to replace afs module under your headlight !

try to go to official Skoda store and check injector parameters there ! also check egr valve or dpf filter if it is clogged !?

My car is MY 2009, imported from finland to Bosnia here and used as a taxi vehicle( Bosnian roads are awfulllllll). I know I should go for 325 euros option but currently I dont have that kind of money for bodywork. I am thinking to do this by myself with some good primer and 800 sand paper. Plus this paint from skoda. This guy who said it is 325 euros said that my paint is peralscent and has some crystals. I don’t know if this one from skoda has that. In my car book it says that it is rosso brunello but I haven’t seen that any rosso brunello is like mine 😖 @bigjohn p.s. also at this wheelarch area I have some sort of paint protection film, I dont know if I can order that asweel from skoda ??

Hi guys, my car has some rust problems, I will post now for you to see. Could I do this by myself or I need to go at workshop. They want 325 euros to fix this rust problems. I was planning to order my paint at skoda dealership and fix this, any ideas how to do this to look perfect or almost perfect. I will also post photo of what I am planning to order at skoda, and what other materials I do need?

How can I disable travel mode via vcds or something like that then? Can official Skoda delaer disable it?

I’ve mentioned that they do “dance” at the startup every time without any fail. I have located today afs slave modules but they are too hard to reach. But still they wont self adapt while driving over and below 60 km/h 😞

Do I need to dissassembly front bumper in order to pull out headlight to fix this?

I said wd40 specialist fast drying contact cleaner

But still I have the same problem I described at first post here, should I unplug afs module slave under eeach headlight and try with contact spray?
