  1. Hey man thanks for the reply. Yeah we changed the top mounts. I’ve been looking everywhere for a solution but your right it’s not a known problem 🥺. Anyhow I guess I’ll just have another look and let them settle a bit
  2. Hi everyone. Before we start I’ve already used the search tool to look for the solution to my problem. So I have an 06 mk1 fabia vrs 108k on her. Yesterday I lowered my car on vmaxx coilovers and now when driving slow and hitting the brake it creaks loudly. I can’t seem to pinpoint exactly where it’s coming from but it obviously wasn’t there before I lowered the car. Has anyone had this problem after lowering they’re car? I see people say that it creaks when going over bumps and what not but mine creaks when I apply the brake? I have attached a video for everyone to get a better idea of the sound. Cheers 13081B11-E364-45AF-B780-AA4522EFB319.MOV
  3. Hey guys recently inourschsed ST X coilovers for my mk1 Fabia and today I’ve cancelled the order. I’m now thinking about getting these https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/ap-suspension-sports-suspension-kits-a-ssp82-018/ One question is like the answer to is do these springs only provide 25mm? In the details part of the product it says up to 60mm. How does this work. Sorry for stupid question lol cheers
  4. Hi I’m having a problem with the lights on the inside of my car. More specifically the interior lights on the roof. I’m going to change the bulbs tomorrow and was wondering how easy it is to take the trim off the lights on the roof. I got the trim off however two buttons fell off with it. These buttons were the left light ( which easily clipped back in) and the other was the switch that slides left to right. For some reason I couldn’t get this light switch back in but got the left switch in with ease. Not only that but none of my interior lights work anymore. Did I blow a fuse? If so how can this be possible. Thanks for reading!
  5. Hey guys I’ve just went and bought ST X coilovers for my fabia vrs mk1. I’m wanting to know if anyone else has these on their mk1 Fabia and maybe get a little bit more info on how they feel and if their worth it. Cheers!
  6. Hey guys just bought my fabia vrs there last Tuesday and I’m having so much fun in it however there are a few things I’ve been hearing that obviously need fixing. Problem 1. When the car is running and the clutch is engaged there is a noise but when I lift my foot off the peda the noise disappears. I made a video with the noise in the background, you can find it here - https://youtu.be/3gdI26rGq7A Problem 2. Again must have soemthing to do with the clutch. From 1st gear to 4th everything is fine however from 5-6 I hear a weird noise, it’s similar to the noise in the video but not exactly the same. I tried getting it on video but it’s to low. Problem 3. This has to do with the suspension. When going over speed bumps I hear a noise coming from the passenger side front. It’s not like a squeak but more of a deeper noise. This doesn’t happen all the time only when both wheels are going over the bump. If i manoeuvre over the speed bump with one side of the car going over it there is no noise on either side, only when both wheels go over it. Lastly is my breaks. Again this doesn’t happen all the time I can drive for 10/15 mins and then my breaks will screech. The harder I press the pedal the more the noise goes away. If anyone one can help me diagnose the problems I’m facing that would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if I haven’t given enough info I’ll try get some more vids of the suspension and breaks. Thank you!!
  7. Thank you guys really please with it!

  12. Thank you Sy plenty of valuable info there that I can bring with me however I’ve spoke to the guy in the phone and apparently it’s got a straight pipe exhaust but he doesn’t know of any other mods that’s been done. I asked him has it been remapped and he said not that he’s aware of. I’m kind of thinking about looking elsewhere as I can’t see anyone putting a straight pipe on and not any other mods lol. Thanks again sy!
  13. Hello there guys, Recently I’ve been looking at purchasing a fabia vrs mk1. I’ve been looking at one with 111k on the clock but unfortunately it was sold today. However, there is another one I like but has 126k on it. It has full service history but would just like a couple of other opinions before I go ahead with the purchase. What do you guys think? Should I go for it? Here’s the advert on auto trader https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201807188559368 Thank you for reading and taking the time to help me out, Cheers!

  15. Hey guys it’s my first post and I’m not sure if I’m doing this right lol So I’m about to buy my first car and it’s a silver fabia vrs. I really like those grey/anthracite standard alloys but can’t find them anywhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction please as ive been looking everywhere. Could I even just get my current standard alloys on the fabia painted grey? again sorry if this is a stupid question I’m new around here. Thank you for reading!
