  1. Please refer to the maintenance manual: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17PdD_-xkCoT43c7bVLawSL6a6iAbuZnT/view?usp=sharing
  2. It has been confirmed that the retrofit can be carried out with these OEM parts: ISOFIX bracket: 8T0881545 ISOFIX bracket cover (black fabric): 8T0881708C 8E1 Speed nuts 2pc: N 90088003 Bolts 2pc: N 90737101 When ordering a new Superb then there is a factory option 3G2 (front passenger side ISOFIX) available. This option comes with the same parts as listed above. Only difference is that the seat base cover will have ISOFIX badges sewed onto. I will post pictures when fitted. It's a bolt-on bracket and takes about 15 minutes to complete the setup. IJWS15 is correct that insurance will cover only parts that came from factory or has been fitted by the dealer. My child seat can be fastened with seatbelt and isofix(optional). I would prefer fastening with both (isofix and seatbelt).
  3. Thanks for the reply! I've taken some VAG car seats apart few times so I'm not afraid of the labour and time cost. If anyone can confirm the bracket's product code I would really appreciate it. I know that the public online catalogs can't be trusted 100%.
  4. Hi! Does anybody know if it is possible to fit ISOFIX bracket to 2016 Superb Combi L&K (ventilated front seats - if that matters)? The bracket should be this -> https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/superb/sup/2016-768/8/881-881010/#29 With product code 8T0 881 545 My dealer says that they can't retrofit this bracket. But I know that dealers say alot of stuff they can't do but actually can be done easily. Has anyone fitted this bracket on their Superb or has any significant information on that? Thanks in advance!
  5. No that is not needed. Superbs (and I guess all new Škoda models) come with electric power steering that acts like "servo/motor". Have done some investigation that retrofitting PLA 3.0 is not difficult, but neither a reasonable way to go.
  6. Hi! My 2016 combi L&K came without park assist (parking with self-steering). Does anyone know what is needed for retrofit procedure? I already have Parking aid (ParkPilot) with 4 parking sensors in front and rear and also parking camera. As I understand I need to install 4 more parking sensors on the sides. But does the wiring in bumpers already exist for those sensors? And is there some markings inside of the bumper where sensor hole must be drilled? Also new button is required for center console and a new parking controller needs to be fitted with some programming. Has anyone done this and can share some more information? Thanks in advance!
  7. Haven't tried this protective solution. I ordered new high gloss plastic for my combi doors (all 6 of them). Each of them costs 19 € and also ordered new trim for center console which is the most scratched surface right now. That costs 75 €. Exterior trims I am going to cover with clear 3M Paint Protection Film. Removing the center console trim is easy. You should start from the rear where the cupholders are. Carefully use thin plastic prying tool to get the first edge out. I also attached image from workshop manual for illustration.
  8. Hi! I am really new to this VCDS stuff but I have come across with something called security access codes that are needed to access modules. Where can one find the correct security access codes for the vehicle? Thanks in advance!
  9. Thanks, that's what I thought. I also checked the user's manual and there's the following:
  10. Hi! I have 05/2016 Superb Combi L&K TDI DSG for which I ordered a new flat bottom perforated leather sports steering wheel with DSG paddles (original did not have those). Now I'm wondering if I start the steering wheel swap then do I need to disconnect the battery before? I've heard that models with kessy lock the steering wheel or something and therefore battery should be disconnected. And if battery has been disconnected do I need to re-program something afterwards (meaning is it safe to disconnect battery in this model)? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
  11. People tell that the following products will make them bright again. Haven't tried them yet though. http://www.starbrite.com/item/plastic-scratch-remover-step-1 http://www.starbrite.com/item/plastic-polish-restorer-step-2 OR https://www.meguiars.com/automotive/products/meguiars-plastx-clear-plastic-cleaner-polish-g12310-10-oz-liquid
