  1. Do spend time looking at the paint surfaces for potential bird crap damage. Whilst your car should have transportation plastic film attached to upper body surfaces, depending on the length of time the car has been in transit or store it is not uncommon for unprotected surfaces to have taken a 'hit'. This damage can be hard to spot but the surface of the paint beneath the crap will look etched. If noticed at the PDI stage this paint damage can be removed with mopping. The lighter the colour the less noticeable the damage. Having learnt from past experience I waste no time in removing bird crap when it happens. You have a fine car to look forward to and I wish you very happy motoring.
  2. I have huge sympathy with the plight of mad8x.This issue will simply never go away unless like me, you choose to park in far away corners of car parks in order to avoid those careless and thoughtless others. I get taunted from those that know me for my parking habits, but too bad. In the last few years cars I have owned have remained ding and dent free. Perhaps I'm a bit of a saddo, but take a look around as there are a few others who seek out isolated parking in order to help protect their cars. If I were mad8x, no way would I have a new vehicle given his parking arrangements. Good luck.
  3. Had the same issue from early on in vehicle ownership.I managed to sort the problem to some degree by using some adhesive backed velcro tape which helped keep the covers in place.
  4. On a recent drive,my TPM alert went off highlighting an issue with the near side front and rear tyres.I soon stopped and found both these tyres were ok with no loss of air after gauge checking.I soon finished the journey and re checked the pressures of these together with both off side tyres and again no recorded pressure loss. I then went into the system and carried out a reset to the system as per hand book instruction. This incident would appear to have been a false alarm. Any constructive thoughts?
