Improve handling 1.5 petrol manual Estate

Thanks for your response I'll look into the Konis. The ARB would only partially solve the issue in terms of cornering, not the overall ride. "As soon as you lower the car you have to tell the insurance company..." - Been modding cars since '87, well aware of the insurance aspects 👍 -
Improve handling 1.5 petrol manual Estate

As a "bump" I can add that my budget now extends to springs & dampers, so the ask is "has anyone put modified springs & dampers on their non-VRS Mk4?" -
Improve handling 1.5 petrol manual Estate

I have the bog-standard 1.5TSi SE manual, so no adaptive suspension and only pleb-spec 16" rims. Having owned the car for over a year I've worked out a plan of attack on the handling, and it starts with the springs. With the exception of a ****roen Picasso this is the most softly sprung car I have owned, and the roll in corners makes me wonder what Skoda were thinking of. I know it's not a VRS but jeez... Anyway the search is on for suitable springs...any recommendations from other forum members? -
3 weeks of accumulated salt, grit & other crap from our wonderful roads...BH Touchless, Auto Wash, and the bonnet got Auto-QD before the rain started 🤦♂️

£18 for a scratch n shine? 😧 Might take you longer now, but at least you're no longer getting grit filled cloths and cheap sh!t chemicals thrown all over your car giving - or it sounds like enhancing - those lovely swirly patterns. And enjoy the fact it's 4 hours where you're not being dragged round shops or garden centres 😁

And the irony is I don't have the variable boot floor...but that is what was sent. Happy enough with the one I now have 🙂

I bought R-P on the back of all the good reviews. Can only assume there is an error in their system as it wasn't even close. The mat from bootsliners.co.uk fits perfectly, and the material isn't too bad for stuff sliding around.

I just took delivery of - and promptly sent for return - a REZAW-PLAST "TAILORED RUBBER BOOT LINER MAT for Skoda OCTAVIA IV Kombi" (as seen on ebay). The quality seemed good although it looked suspiciously small...confirmed when put into the car. I think Stevie Wonder took the measurements for them. Now ordered the same mat as BNB90
