  1. Hi Langers Thanks for the reply. Always rely on You for good advice. I hadn’t considered the coding aspect, I’m glad You replied before I just bought one. My assumption is that an amp usually works or doesn’t work, so the coding aspect makes sense. Unless the head unit has enough power to send sound to the speakers. Judging by the size of the wires that leave the head unit I assume that they are just sending a signal To the amp
  2. Hi again further to the previous post, I have been offered a replacement amplifier matching the one in the car. does anyone think it’s worth changing ? do You think that the amp is A. The correct part B. Going to sort out the terrible sound quality? cheers Dunk
  3. Hi All a quick question. I have the 12 Speaker ‘sound system’ in My ‘09 Yeti. The sound is absolutely awful. I changed the front woofers to see it they were shot, but that didn’t change anything. I checked the amp under the seat. It is a Blaupunkt 3TO 035 456 10channel with Audi and VW logos does this sound right? I’m thinking that maybe it has been changed for the wrong one in the past. does anyone think that the amp would be the issue with the terrible sound? cheers
