Hello. My 71 plate Octavia current had the heating stuck on. I can't turn it off. Those is irresistible if the temperature setting. I've been doing long drives the last week and it's excruciating in this heat. Any ideas? Would a battery disconnect help? It's a lease car and it wont be driven for six weeks as of next week, and it goes back in November, so don't really wasn't too spend on it. It's out of warranty now so I'm responsible for repairs.

Don't hold your breath mate. My some headlight MK3 was such a lovely trouble free car to drive. I really regret getting this one.

Apparently it did. But as I say I haven't taken mine in for it yet.

My mate who has a 2l went to the agents in Slough and they have apparently applied a software fix. When I'm back for longer I'll be doing the same as the noise is one of s number of niggles I have with mine.

Same problem. My old split headlight Octavia had no issues. This one on the other hand has a number of flaws.
