  1. Thanks, I will have a look into it. 😁 Unfortunately mine was the ex-demo so couldn't pick options. 😞
  2. Thanks. Do u know roughly how much all the parts costed you? Cheers
  3. Hey everyone, I am in NZ. I know some area the lights in the photo works and some are not. Mine doesn't. Just wondering if anyone know how I can get them working and is it hard to get them going? Do I need extra parts? Cheers
  4. I took mine into the dealer twice now. But the noise still there. They are telling me coz it's taking the load when I go over the speed bump especially when I apply the breaks. The skoda servise manager will be here next month so he will go for a test drive with me and see what he says. I think it's bull**** they telling me it's normal. Still got 3.5 years of warranty. So it will get fixed no matter what.
  5. Is your car still under warranty? Best thing I think I should do is to record the sound and show them. See what they say. So skoda thinks it's a one way valve in the pump that failed or something. So when the car parked up overnight, the oil drained. That's what makes the noise. Coz when I first got the car, it didn't make the noise. Then it started and the buzzing noise got more and more. Hope yours is still under warranty. But if yours been doing it for a few years, I guess it doesn't do any damage to the car.
  6. Haha, the noise is gone since the new oil pump been put in and noise hasn't come back yet, fingers crossed it won't. Its a warranty job so no idea how much it would cost otherwise.
  7. I hope I will be able to drive in sports full time after we have a new government
  8. Time is tough. Desperate times for desperate measures. HAHA!!! Just kidding.
  9. A friend of mine which is a mechanic was in my car the other day. He said his initial thought was engine mount. What do u guys think? I will bring it up to the dealer, got my service coming up this month.
  10. That's what I thought. But the dealer keep saying the gear is always engaged and ready to go. If I let my foot off the break a little bit. Rev goes up to 1000 as well. So will have to look into it. Still got just under 4 years of warranty so I will get that sorted no matter what. I can clearly feel the vibration on the steering wheel, door panel and centre glove box.
  11. Yea, that's what most of the car's I have been driven are like, I had an a6 and sometimes I wouldn't even know if my car was running when it's in D with foot on the break.
  12. That's what the dealer saying, the clutch is always engaged and ready to go. That's why it puts load on it. So there will be vibration. But I drove other skoda and vw cars, they don't have that much vibration and the deal said oh your car got lots of power. But when u stopped. But surely its just some excuse, right? Really need another one to compare.
  13. Yea, I will give it a try but don't think it is that either It says 98/(95)
  14. So the car's idle rev was really low, only 600rpm when I felt the vibration, then they put it up to about 800 and it felt better, then after a while, it got a little bit worse again. Then they replaced the flywheel and clutch, then felt better. But now, I think it got a bit worse again. It's worse on some days than the other. Sometimes felt like on a warmer day, it's better.
