I have had this problem for about a year now and it was driving me mental as it just gets more frequent and i was not happy about spending so much to fix the issue. I have seen this thread before but never went through every comment, but the other day i skipped through and spotted that some of you have fitted the connectors that piggy back the gear selector and thought why not its only £50. 2 days later it arrived from eastern europe and wow 👏 so far so good no bloody annoying warnings on the way to work this morning, Only bloody problem is i think im having the poxy water pump issue now and my car has only done 45000 miles 🙃
