  1. Went today on shorter ride for test, collant stayed at 90 this time and didnt climb up. Since what happened last week this probably means fuel pump is failling and will happen again (although not necesarily on every ride)?
  2. The pump was changed when car way under 5 years old. If this is the problem, do you really change waterpump every 5 or so years? Then you have to change timing belt as well?
  3. Clear pink , not murky / cloudy
  4. I got Engine overheating warning yesterday on shorter drive and the temperature needle climbed into red. My car is 2.0 TDI 150 PSI 2014 model. First time this happened on my car. My car has fuel pump changed when it was relatively new and under warranty, but now is 11 years old. Nothing else was done on the car since new (just regular oil and filter changes at dealer). Today morning when the engine was cold and car parked I checked what I can see: oil level is normal coolant is at min dash. Not sure how was it before and what is suppose to be normal. I dont see any coolant leaks (to my knowledge). I opened collant reservoar and liquid is clear inside. I scanned with OBDeleven and these erros were logged during drive yesterday: B10F000 (Function limitation due to compressor switch-off by I can leave my car at the dealer whcih I am afraid is going to end up in huge bil (not sure what else can I do but I would like to potentially know more what I am possibly dealing with )
  5. I am trying to remove gray part around gearbox but not sure where to pull. I managed to detach it on the front but it seems its not connected to bottom part? I dont want tokeep pulling to break anything.
  6. Ok, I need to do the same. Seems like a big work. Do you need to remove seats first?
  7. Yes, it was the battery. After fitting new one everything was good.
  8. I do it occasioanlly but I am not sure it really helps. And why would this help at all?
  9. Is there a fix without changing microswitch? Something like using vcds to disable this error from showing? My car is old now and out of warranty and the gearbox is blocked physically with anti-theft protection so I cannot replace the microswitch. https://imgur.com/a/0o3MZKI
  10. Do you have a picture of where this was hapenning?
  11. Its like anti theft device which uses a lock to lock a geabox in P position with a key (which is inserted on the right of gearbox). However, I had this lock installed when the car was new, and my dealer actually did already a fix on this gearbox (for the same message issue "leave vechicle only..") some years later. So they did already fixed this when this lock was present. But I dont know what they have actually done (havent asked at the time). I dont think they replaced microswitch (maybe they did) but not sure what was offical Skoda fix for that. I remember reading somewhere it was new gear selector or something...
  12. I just went to remove trim to check what type of microswitch would I need, and then I saw this: https://imgur.com/a/0o3MZKI I have a multi-lock on a gearbox installed from when the car was new and I guess this black part blocking everything is part of the multi-lock. Which means I probably wont be able to replace microswitch. Not a good news 😞
