I have now had the issue with ACC slowing down when undertaking last week. Had my car just over 4 weeks. Had it on the M3 from Winchester to around Basingstoke, then seemed to correct itself, started again and stopped around Farnborough. Was fine heading back down the M3! Did it again briefly on the A303 just before Wincanton. Anyway, mentioned it to my dealer who said there is a UK version of the software that will fix that and is booked in on the 1st to get loaded. Anyone else heard of this?

Just had my car a week and I have noticed the matrix lights do change very quickly - almost like flashing lights very quickly - when driving along dark roads and all there seems to be is hedge line and trees in the beam that are changing shape. Nothing really reflective in front. Is that normal behaviour?

Yes. I use the cable to also charge my phone as doesn't have wireless charging.

Picked up my Octavia on Saturday and all seems good so far. Only issue I have noticed so far is Waze map goes distorted on the infotainment screen and also audio can get a bit distorted. I am using an Apple cable and have tried two different ones and tried both USB C ports. Has anyone else seen this.

Picked up my Race Blue VRS DSG 245 Estate last night. Not done many miles yet but overall very impressed so far. Couple of little glitches so far. Sound via CarPlay (wired) seems to 'drop out' occasionally and the info screen went distorted on CarPlay and seemed to 'lock up'. Went to Menu and back to CarPlay and was ok.

Just been advised my Octavia VRS Estate Petrol DSG has arrived in the UK:) Ordered July'21. With a potential collection on the 14th. Happy days. Hopefully those that are still waiting will get yours soon.

Was that the 0% PCP Finance they were offering back in July and had to take delivery by 31st December? As mine is on that deal and is still in Germany awaiting shipment. My dealer has told me the 0% deal will be honoured. Hope so!

Spoke to my dealer today and still doesn't have a delivery date. Like some others mine is built awaiting final parts. Probably Canton as I have ordered that. He did tell me I am protected from any price increases. But needed to check if the 0% finance option would still apply as that was based on cars being registered by 31st December. Said it probably would.

To be honest not holding my breath!

Had an update on mine a few days ago. Seemingly it was 'built' a couple of weeks ago, but not complete. Dealer didn't seem to know what was missing though. Seems to think it should be around 6-8 weeks now?! Dealer online portal is showing 15th December delivery!! Hope so:) It is a VRS 2.0 TSI Estate DSG, Race Blue, Canton, Reverse Camera, Winter Pack and Spare Wheel. Ordered July'21. Dealer did add they had their first Octavia since August delivered a few weeks ago and seemingly more are starting to come through now.

Just jumping on this thread. Ordered a VRS Petrol Estate in July. Just had a call earlier to say going into build in week 42, but will then be waiting on a 'final' part due to semiconductor shortage. Don't know how long for. Meanwhile watching the value of my Superb going up! Was told cars with auto boot are particularly impacted on delays. Apparently at one point is was down as June '22!

Hi, appreciate this is a bit off topic! But hopefully someone might know the answer. I have posted on a couple of A3 forums as well. My son has just ordered a new Audi S3. He would like ACC, but only comes part of a £1,400 package and doesn't really want to pay that much for it! Therefore, just wondering if it may be possible to code that in, as it already has the radar etc for Audi pre-sense and pedestrian/cycle detection. Many thanks.

I had this problem on mine a couple of times and took it the dealer and I believe they loaded some new software and has been ok since.

Funnily enough had mine, 1.5TSI in for this last Friday. Seems ok so far and was experiencing issues, especially when not warmed up.

Got the car back from the dealer. Was told there were some 'false' readings and a software update should fix it. Time will tell. No charge, car is March 2019.

I had this yesterday on a roundabout coming off the M27. Nothing in front of me, but a lorry to my left. Car just suddenly applied the breaks and the red warning sign came on. Also the red warning symbol came on the day before but the brakes weren't applied. Luckily no car behind me! As I was then driving passed the dealer popped in and has been booked in, in a couple of weeks of time. Didn't seem the slightest bit concerned and just advised to disable for the time being!

Another form member found the TPI and I just gave the number to my local dealer.

Just gave my dearer the TPI number and they found it on their systems.
