2016 Yeti is fitted with headlight washers, the passenger one being much more productive than the bumper needs to be removeddriver's side. After a bit of detective work I have traced this to one of the small globe nozzles being missing on that side. I went to the agent with the hope of replacing this and gluing it in position. Of course they are not available, except as a unit with the head and pump. £50.50 plus VAT and fitting, with the possibility of having to remove the bumper for access. Can anyone suggest a cheaper source, and if the bumper has to be removed. i'm not sure if the headlights are Xenon, in which case its a MOT fail. It's passed at least one MOT like this without a fail or an advisory. Maybe not checked. Maybe the unfocused deluge is accepted

Pal has 1.6 diesel engine. Error message came up several times, but with no loss of power. Halfords said code required replacement accelerator pedal unit. A couple of days later the error light has returned. I've asked for confirmation of the actual code, but has anyone any experience

I have purchased a low mileage 1.2 TSI. 2016 Engine number CYVB709998. The local unofficial Skoda agent suggests that the timing belt has a 10 years replacement interval. A local trusted garage says they change every 5 years, but that as it doesn't drive the water pump it rarely fails. The believe that depending on the source recommendations vary from (1). Every 5 years.(2). Every 10 years.(3) 160k km or 10 years. Can anyone confirm present recommendation for this engine number, and the source of the recommendation Thank you
